A message was left by a man at this number claiming to be from the D.E.A. investigating a drug case!  I was told to call back immediately or they would issue a warrant!  I got the same call about a month ago from a different number - when I looked that one up, it also had a long list of scam reports.  I did not call back, but many of the reports say that the "agent" demands payment of a "fine" or you will be arrested for buying prescription drugs from another country.  Here is one article about this scam - there are many others online.

Received call(202) 552-4791 from Wsah DC, It's a scam wanting to know info on my house.

This number has such a varied amount of callers for years.  All sound like scams.  I will assume it is the political survey cruise scam as 202 is one of the area codes that I get calls from.

Robo Sarah calls my cell number and my voip phone.  She offers a free cruise for a 30 second survey about the bad state of politics in this election year.  Other people have said that it is a ploy to sell you a cruise.  

I have a lot more than 20 numbers from these people.  But to keep it simple, these are the area codes that they are using (not all of them are in Oregon:

727  971

And each area code had several numbers from several calls.  Each area code has 9,999,999 numbers fyi (7 digits). I am going to copy and paste and post this info for each number that calls me for this web site.

Nothing is going to stop these scammers and lazy collection agency who call everyone with the same name instead of looking up the right one and all we can do is block them or use call forward selective..  DNC does not work when they are robo dialing all possible random numbers. The authorities can not or will not help either.

So, just block them, don't answer unknown calls, and continue using this great site for information to be in control of your own home and cell phone calls.  If it turns out that you did not answer a call from someone you know (number not on this site), just call them back.  No problem.  Its alot of work that I do (checking the number on this web site, blocking the caller, and making my own excel spreadsheet of numbers) but at least I FEEL like I have a little control of the situation. Maybe I'm delusional.

Get a VoIP service... PhonePower has a block list of up to 50 numbers and an unlimited selective forwarding list that immediately goes to your voicemail (all free with the service).. Or i hear Ooma has a crown-sourced "spam" service that automatically blocks any incoming call that a majority of its users believe are from unwanted callers. Brilliant!

They call and call and call but never say a word. Next call I'm going to blow a police whistle as loud as I can in their ear or if they call my cell I'm going outside hold my colt .45 next to my phone and shooting off a round or two.

called me and said they were going to pay my car off and my cell phone bill???? Some how they know we are behind on our payments . They said someone will be calling in the next two days with the info.

Called after 1 a.m. No reply to my hello.

Called me at 115am. Dead silence and 2 clicks and hang up. Same number last fall called and said was from Microsoft and asked "if I have a computer". I laughed and told him to eff himself and hung up. Seems to be up to no good. On national no caller list.

Phone rang this morning at 4.30am !!! (EST)  We are in Quebec, Canada.

Needless to say, we did not answer.  Caller Id showed it was 202-552-4791.

He call me 2 times tonigth  1 am and 3 am. no messages I'm suspecting he take the number of one add on craiglist or kijiji, could some one tell if this insane who have nothing to do is taking phone numbers from adds sites and call people?. this is very disapointed

Just got a call at 12 midnight from this number 202-552-4791 in the country of the USA and located in the District Of Columbia (Washington DC)" I do not know anyone from this area of the world but when I said "hello" with a French accent, I could hear several voices and then a few clicks then the line went dead.

They could have been at least polite and said they dialed the wrong number but no just a dead CLICK !

Yes -- you can block numbers on your landline -- I prefer speaking with a human than using the asterisk codes -- there is a few for every number blocked

Caller said they have health screening they wanted to offer.  They did not want me to change my doctor, but offer information for my doctor.  This is a new one.  Watch out.  Especially since I see this same number has been used to offer other marketing information.

BE CAREFUL PEOPLE.  They're calling from a cell phone and when you ask them how they got your name and number they won't tell you who they are or how they got your information.  She hung up on me.

when i called back, they said "Welcome to Cordia.  we don't recognize the number you are calling from; please enter your phone number, starting with the country code"  then they hung up right away before anyone could possibly respond.

who ever this is .... they are starting to ask for ppl by name. I could not understand anything they said due to thick accents... middle eastern or indian. when I could they'd start to ask about if I had gas in my floors, walls... what????  they asked for my mother by name, when you answer the phone you go through like 5 times hello back and forth with them pretending they can't hear you. Im loud and was screaming. anyone get any info on these fools, it would be greatly appreciated by me. I want know who they are.

Calling about cracks in my walls. Said they were calling from "home improvement". Also called my cell phone.  All of these weird phone call seemed to start after I ordered business cards through VistaPrint. Has anyone else ordered anything through VistaPrint?
