DC area code --- what would you expect?

I keep getting calls from several 202 numbers, some labeled Ken Hoagland, some
just Washington DC.  I have reported them all to the Do Not Call List and blocked them.
Never any messages left, and I don't pick up

They already voted 40 times to repeal Obamacare, and while they're waiting for Obama to sign off on that, they solicit more money so they give themselves a nice bonus.  Don't be fooled. This is money right down the toilet.  Put them on the call blocker.

You can call the number (202-558-4517   -- at least it's a legitimate number, apparently), there will be a fairly brief recording about the organization, then it asks you to enter your phone number if you want to have it removed from their call list.    If you do that, then there is a message stating that by federal law they have 30 days to remove the number, but they will try to remove it within a couple of days.    I can't verify this works because it has only been a few minutes since I submitted my number to be removed.  Actually, had I listened to their message on the original call, I doubt that I would have disagreed with it all that much;  just don't like the way they deliver it.

Not necessarily political.  My in-laws received calls from a 202 number and it was a scammer threatening a lawsuit unless they paid to settle a debt.  They have no debt.

you do realize that politicians are exempt from the DNC list, right?

This call was a call from Mike Huckaby, they have changed Numbers !!  Used to be 202-888-6165. wanting money to defund Obama care.

Political tripe from Mike Huakabee.

The number is from Restore America's Voice PAC.  A very right-wing political action committee that is too cowardly to provide a phone number on their website.  Apparently they only like to harass but can't argue enough for their position to field phone calls.

So with some research I can tell you you can contact their call center in Austintown OH at 855-812-0290 and they will remove your number from their call list.  They only support conservative causes.  You can also contact the PACs lawyer at Maureen Otis at (281) 242-9800,  4850 Wright Rd Ste 168, Stafford, TX 77477.

Received a call this AM from this number.   I am so sick & tired of these calls....

I really wish people would simply state that their unwanted caller was a Political call and leave the politics and their opinions on the Political discussion boards.   Most here only want to know who called them.  Not everyone's political views,  Dem or Rep.....

Scammers spoof numbers all the time. Unfortunately that means sometimes they hit a real person's number which then shows their name on caller ID.

Ken Hoagland is a professor at the Univ. of Maryland.  Maybe his cell phone was stolen or someone has tapped into his private line.

D.C. political call.  SPAM.  Did not answer.  Number was already in SPAM database and blocked.

Received this call twice in 2 days.I do not answer. I call the "Do not call number" and report it. Still no results. Another number that called me within 3 days is 202 400-3498

they call my cell phone number. Never leave a message. Who are these people? Does anyone out there know??
