it is the Washington Post calling with a subscription offer.

Have received 5 calls from this number over the past few days (3 calls on 7/31, 1 on 8/1 and 1 on 8/5 as of 12noon).  This is annoying.

Called me many times. No message. Wake up my baby from nap. Extremely annoy.

If you are in the D.C. Metro Area, this is a trunk number that is used by the Washington Post.  They are marketing to their subscribers to renew or extend your subscriptions.

202 is a DC area code.  No other info.  Never pick up the phone.  This number just started coming in to me this August.  They never leave a message.

Called a few times, once each day.  I called them back and requested that they not use my number anymore.  Says that they're Landmark - a teleservices firm specializing in tele suverys, debt collection and fund raising.  You can request that your number no longer be used if you leave a VM.  Have not heard from them since.

received a call yesterday and today.  no message.

totally unknown and persistent...no message left.

I get a call from this number every other day but the caller never leaves messages.. just ignore the call

They call once a day even though my number is on the Do-Not-Call list.  They don't leave a message and don't say anything when I answer. I heard a female in the background.

I don't need these types of calls

And, yes, my phone number is on the DNC list.

OK remember, if they ask you for your SSN or bank information it's a scam, DON'T GIVE IT OUT.  Also if they get abusive that's illegal, I just heard something about that on the radio yesterday. If you owe a debt you MUST have received hardcopy in the snail mail about it telling you how much it is and who to contact about paying it, I know that much from helping mail those out from a debt collection firm a couple of years ago.  If they say otherwise they don't know the law.  Tell the police.  My neighbors had that happen and were told they had to report the abusive debt collector to the police first.

When I called it back from my work phone i got a voicemail talking about survey's and debt collections.....do basically they askin for you to pay a bill...lOL
