may 1,2013 2:27 p.m. just got a call from this number have been called from other s before and told them I did not subscribe because I was BLIND

I received a call today, same as above.  Caller states she is from a magazine company   and she is not trying to sell me anything.  She was calling about some my She said I did have subscriptions and she is looking at them right now.  I said I'm not interested and hung up.

They called me twice within 3 minutes and if I don't know the number I don't answer it but my boyfriend answered the second call and they didn't say who they were just asked for me but by Michael instead of Michell(I'm female and that happens alot.)

I keep getting the same calls. I looked on here first before answering and saw all of this stuff and I am glad I did not answer. I think these poeple should be arrested. They are scam artist. They want a name and info to put with the card number they have. It happened to me one time on a credit card, they still charged something but did not have my name...go figure. I did not have to pay for it $1200.00....it was a charge from a different state and after the bank did their investigation they proved it was fraud. I now only use prepaid Visa. I only keep what I need on it for small things. I am about ready to just use cash and money orders. GOOD LUCK

I received a call like the others today wanting to know if I had been receiving my magazines I had subscribed to.  I told them I have been receiving several unwanted and unrequested magazines for about 3 months now and have not been able to find out who signed me up for them.  Since I complained the first person I talked with he said that he only have authority to take me off the "automatic renewal" list and a supervisor would have to help me with my complaint.  Whenever I asked how they got my phone number and credit card information (gave me last 4 digits) he said that apparently I did not "opt out" of a promotional offer for an AT&T gift card or Walmart gift card.  I have never opted in for these gift cards so knew this was some sort of scam.  Whenever the supervisor got on the line they informed me that they could only record my not wanting to do the automatic renewal and that I would have to mail something in to terminate their information.  At that point I asked to speak to someone else and to receive written proof how they got my information and how they were going to destroy it. Can't we do something to get these people to PAY for what they are doing??? At least the card I listed was only a reloadable card and I don't have enough on it for them to charge it but I'm sure that others have used their regular credit cards to sign up for things.

I despise these types of scams. This person called and asked for me by name, but I never said I was who she was asking for. I asked her what she wanted, and she said she was "calling from a magazine company" before I yelled that I was on the Federal Do Not Call Registry, and to remove me from all solicitation lists, and hung up without waiting for a response. I am filing a complaint with the FCC immediately after posting this message. I just wanted to see if these scammers were already known to be shady.

I got a call my niece answered it so I don't know who it was from or what it was about. After I yelled at her she hung up on the person. Caller I.D. said it was from washington D.C.

Just got a call on my cell. Didn't answer. Said from DC and don't know anyone from DC. Left a voicemail containing nothing but bad music!

I don't know who these people are. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.

Got a call from this number stating that they were a magazine company called Southwest Periodical Service and that I ordered these magazines in March and that my card was posted for $68.00 dollars, yet my card was not charged for that amount.  They repeated my last 4 digits of my credit card.  I am upset at these scammers.

They called my cell 30 minutes ago. No message.
