Got a call from them. I didn't answer.

called but left no message

Just got a call from this number.  He said, "Excuse me." and hung up.  I had put some slightly inflammatory stuff on facebook about need to curtail giant corporations.  Maybe I should have said "government intrusion"?  Who are these guys?  
   The call I received carried called ID of phone number and Washington DC.  Call was at 7:40 pm PST but the guy sounded rested and wide awake, not like it was 10:40 pm on the East Coast.  
Voice sounded White, and unaccented, male, a little deeper than average guy and suitable for TV or radio.

  I called back the number but was informed that the number I had called was "not in service".  I called with both a "one" prior, and without a "one" prior.  Jeez Louise, it's enough to make you think here is some validity to the Tea Party paranoia!  Whatever.

Caller ID "UNAVAILABLE". Didn't answer. No message was left.

They said they were from the Republican National Committee and were raising money.
