Got a call from "Special Agent Sean Bolden" today stating I made an illegal purchase several years ago online and that I had a warrant for my arrest in the Dominican Republic. As many others said they said they noticed I was an outstanding citizen with a clean record and with the signing of just a few documents and small payment of several thousand dollars he would have the matter resolved. The "Special Agent" eventually hung up after intense questioning. I then searched up the number, 202-888-3255, and was sent to this site. Upon reading these I called the number requesting to speak to Agent Bolden but was informed by some woman named "Natasha" with a heavy spanish accent that he was in a conference call with with the US DA. I then told Natasha that I knew it was a scam where she proceeded to hang up. Several minutes later I got a call back from the number stating that we were accidentally disconnected and that "Tiffany" was back on the line to help me. I told the caller that she had just given me different name than before and that I noticed she had a completely different accent this time, this one far more american, and that I knew it was a scam for sure by now where I was once again hung up on. This is absolutely a scam!

Today I received a call from the "Office of Criminal Investigation" at 202-570-7775.  Same as others - I bought an Illegal muscle relaxer from an oline pharmacy in the Dominic Republic in Feb. 2007?  The "agent" had my correct name and address.  When I insisted that I had never used an online pharmacy
and I kept quizzing him and giving him rude answers, he finally hung up.  I did a reverse phone inquiry and found all of your remarks.  I'm a pretty savvy old lady but for those who would be taken in, please try to stop this scam..

2nd time in a week I got this call from DEA Agent Mike Rodriguez.  I supposedly bought illegal drugs from an online phamacy in the Dominican Republic.  I'm on to him now. I asked him what he wanted me to do?  He didn't answer.  I said "come arrest me" and he hung up.  This time the number was different.  It was 202-600-8229. SCAM!

Just got a second call.  This one from 202 241 5693 (Washington DC) making the same claims as found below.  A federal agent was en route to my home to arrest me.  I just needed to send him money.  As soon as I said, "Well this sure sounds like a scam!  When the officer arrives, I'll contact my lawyer."  He immediately hung up.

I received a very scary message from a James Foley, telling me I needed to call him back asap.  If he could not get in touch with me, other measures would be taken.  I called back with the number he left, 202-600-8229, and received a message. No option for an extension.

I sure hope more people look up the phone # of these scamming scumbags!!!  I too had a so called 'DEA special agent,' James Foley call and I too was being arrested and taken to the Dominican Republic to stand up in court there.  I was nervous and scared at first then, he said he would talk to the DA or something to see if they might dismiss the charges, and put me on hold.  I thought I would hold for a while but in 2 min. he was back saying its too late blah, blah, blah. He kept asking if I had learned my lesson & he could see I was an upstanding citizen w/a clean record.  Then told me that they would be here shortly to pick me up.  I was telling him I cant go, I have a child, no passport!  What!?  Then I told him I'd call my lawyer but, he said to be sure my lawyer could handle an international charge if not, they would appoint one to me. Then, he again put me on hold to see if they might reconsider since I have a clean record and all, and if I signed the papers to promise to never do anything like this again.  As I sat on hold I thought, now how can they reconsider if its already too late and the arrest warrant has already been issued?  At that point I was highly suspicious.  So, when he came back and told me they would send the paperwork to legally discharge me from the court in the Dom.Rep. and all I had to do was pay a small fine of $4000.  I knew then it was a big scam. I sorta pretended to be relieved but, I told him I have no money and he asked for 1/2 at least.  When I said I still could not pay he got angry and said, Fine, I cannot help you and your going to be arrested!!  I told him I needed his number so my lawyer could can and suddenly he got more upset and said I was playing with my freedom!! He started to yell saying that he was putting his job on the line to 'Help' me!  So finally I said, "GREAT, them I'll be waiting for them to come and pick me up" and promptly hung up!  Unbelievable they people can be so nasty and prey on people fears!!
**** They are the ones who should be under arrest!! ****

Just got a message on my home phone.  The caller identified himself as a DEA Agent in Washington D.C. who informed me that I was part of an ongoing investigation involving ?????.I did not understand "what".  I should call him back, ext. 4129, or warrant will be issued for mine arrest.  Very professional.   Scared me for sure, so I called back, but I got msg to leave a mgs, no option for ext.? so this made me think twice,  why DEA in DC? I am in NJ, then I check the number here. Now I know it is SCAM.  Thanks for posting.

Got 2 calls on my cell earlier from a 'special agent'. He said his name was Bill Ramsey and he was a DEA agent. Said I was part of an ongoing investigation involving an online pharmacy. Tried to bully me and said I had to pay a court fine of $2000 right away or that I would be arrested and taken to the Dominican Republic to appear in court! He kept saying to keep this 'private' and that if I told anyone then he wouldn't be able to 'help' me. As soon as he demanded that I pay the 'fine' I knew it was a scam. When I said I don't have the money he just screamed at me, "we'll, that's it, you are going to be arrested. Just hang up the phone. ". Scared me for sure but at least they didn't get any cash from me. Beware of the SCAM

This is a dangerous scam.  I received a call from 202.570.7775 on Friday, March 22, 2013.  The caller identified himself as a DEA Agent in D.C. who informed me that I had been indicted in the Dominican Republic.  Before he could do his good cop/bad cop routine and give me the privilege of wiring him a large amount of money, I told him I was calling my lawyer and hung up.  This scam has gone on for years.  The people who run it are very professional.  Apparently many people have believed their threats, and have wired large sums of money to them.
