Six out of the last 25 phone calls on my caller ID are from ACLU using these numbers:

These people are infuriating. They call early morning, mid-day and late at night. I don't know what the ACLJ is but they better get their act together. All complaints, no response for their benefit.

I also got a call from  202 599 4945. ID said  ACLJ, but I didn't mind the call, Why, because I bought a Digitone Call Blocker. www.digitone.com The first time they call, it rings my phone and the call comes through. I then block the number and the next time they call, my phone doesn't even ring and the blocker hangs up on them. You can even block entire area codes. I have it setup to block any incoming calls with the 855 area code. The blocker keeps track of all calls, good and bad ones. Then I like to check to see who got hung up on just for fun like I am now.

You need to buy one of these, you?ll like it.

Who are these people?  Debt collectors?  I finally called 911 fraud and the calls have stopped!  Not only that they never e en pro ounced my name right so I just say wrong number that kept them off my. Ack for a week or so at a time.

The people calling and showing ACLJ are fake.  They are trying to irritate people by calling continually so that they give ACLJ a bad name and then people will not want to support them.  American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ) is NOT making the calls.  I know because I keep getting the calls too.  That's why I looked up the phone number.  It irritates me to get these calls and now I see why the people against the ACLJ are doing this.  ACLJ fights for our rights and never makes calls like this.  I would love to see these liars taken to court for posing as someone else.

This number calls frequently. Caller ID says 'ACLJ'. No one on the other end of the line.

ACLJ is the American Center for Law and Justice. They have called with atleast six different numbers all from area code 202.  No message left.

Repeated unwanted calls from ACLJ.

This number continues to call daily.  On the rare occasion that someone speaks when I answer, they refuse to leave a message.  Usually the call is silent when I answer, though.

I have a toll free number for them and that is the number they use to call from. They are currently fighting the atheist organization (Freedom from Religion) who might actually be the culprits behind this and not the ACLJ. The ACLJ is reputable and this is not their character. They are being set up.

Have been receiving calls on a weekly basis. They never leave a message. This is very upsetting to a senior citizen who is in their '90s and thinks it is a friend or family member who is calling.

These calls must stop!

Got so fed up I called back & listened to recorded response which told me if I wanted to know more about their organization press 1.  I did not the first time & there was no further response,so I called back 2nd time, pressed 1 when advised, listeded to their verbiage,which was more detailed, THEN they offered to let me opt out. I had to then put in my phone number, & the recording said they had  up to up to 30 days(by law) to remove me.  Hope it works.  I don't understand why there is no one or voice on their end when they are calling you.  A dead line on pick-up on robo calling should be against the law.

There are a non-profit and probably aren't subject to the "no call" list. Too bad, because the endless calls are very annoying.

GETTING CALLS AND NO ONE TALKS

I had been receiving calls from the ACLJ from 202-407-2365 and they never spoke when I answered... I turned off my answering machine and they hang up by the 4th ring... so I blocked that number 3 days ago... NOW the ACLJ is cliing me from this number 202-599-4945 and hung up on the 4th ring as well... so I immediately blocked it also... We will see how many numbers they have... Then I will contact the phone company OR a lawyer.

Does anyone know what the scam is, they do not speak, or leave a message. some one said to be sure to check your misce billing on your telephone bill, cant the phone co stop this crap

I am tired of all these unwanted calls.  Do not call does not seem able to stop them.  If they are coming from Washington, why can't they be stopped?

These people have been calling me twice a day most of the time. Usually around lunch and/or dinner.I  think the calls are from the American Center for Law and Justice. I want no part of them.

get these calls daily. press *60 and add this number. I will see it if helps. also go to donotcall.gov and get put on the no call list. you can report this number to them if they continue to call

Been receiving calls from this organization and it's getting annoying, they call all day early morning and late nights. I want this number block.

I have gotten the exact same thing two days in a row. 2025994945 rings, our answering machine picks it up, and I hear "Hello....Hello..." then hang up.

We have been getting calls repeatedly from 202-599-4945. We pick up the phone and no one answers. The caller ID lists ACLJ each time. We feel we are being either harrassed or stalked. Verizon, please put a stop to this nuisance calling.
