Right, but this group is only using "political survey" as a front to use the loophole.  I reported them 3 times on the Do Not Call list, so hopefully this will get looked into.

I have two different numbers, both going back to a political group survey and got the same message when calling back.  971-208-9955 and 360-529-6963.  I called both and asked to be removed (got the same recorded message on each).  My cell phone # is also on the do not call list.  I was told a while back from my carrier that cell phones don't adhere to all the same rules thus making it harder from even my carrier to block them.

I have blocked this Political survey group and followed the steps necessary to have my number permanently removed. To no avail! My number is transferred to another number for the PSG and the calls continue. I have blocked at least nine numbers. Who are these people and why in the heck is our Government not assisting with stopping this business from harassing citizens? How do we get these people to stop?

Got a call from this number on February 19th. Spam/scam/telemarketer.

Well, it's another new month and this new 'grifter', as well as the usual old 'parasites' have begun calling me long distance (this one, probably just the same old cruise-line SCAMMER under the guise of a 'bogus' survey taker once again...now utilizing a telephone number from the Washington D.C. area) to my 'for emergency only use' private cell phone number...pfft! This unsolicited caller has called my cellphone repeatedly since just before 7AM Sunday morning? After reading similar notes from others here, as well as performing a numbers search, I've now confirmed this number to be a Verified SPAMMER (aka Grifter / Scammer)!

I do not answer calls from numbers not listed in my phone's 'Contact List', but instead, I add them as a Verified SPAMMER to it, so that I'll know that such 'bogus' calls are to be ignored in the future. In addition, I never respond to nor return these calls, especially using the "press 1 to be removed" feature, as all types of calls like these are all just simply SCAMs and these types of 'grifters' obviously 'don't play by the rules' anyway. Calling them back or picking-up the call only shows them that you are in fact a 'live' number. I ignore these calls so that maybe after several rings/unanswered calls, parasites like these might hopefully and eventually drop my number from their 'Who To Try and SCAM Today' list.

BTW, don't believe the 'trolls' here that tell you that you must have unintentionally added your name to some sort of list at one time or another, as I sometimes wonder if the 'trolls' I see frequenting '800notes.com' are in fact even legitimate posters at all? I have never listed my cellphone number anywhere nor with anyone and I do not use it to call anybody...except for emergency purposes only; i.e., medical, fire, and law enforcement; therefore, I'm assuming that SPAMMERs like these have 'tapped' into the various cell provider databases?

Hopefully, with the new Federal Regulations just announced this past week r/e SPAMMERs (unsolicited telephone solicitors and/or 'bogus' survey takers), we all should be seeing an end to these 'bogus' calls sometime soon...cheers.

I know of a telemarketing scam that targets the elderly. The workers were young people hard up for a job that have no remorse. I saw the owner come into the company once. He had a limo, a beard and sunglasses, and wearing a turban and a suit. Wouldn't it be great if racial profiling were actually specific enough to include facial hair, color of hair of their wife and type of dog or car they own? Here is the profile:
The look was classic for American nontraditional Muslim tycoon or rich unorthodox Jew. Do not do business or work for anyone with a beard that looks like this. Forget about skin color; be suspicious of anyone who rides in a limo! There is a limo owner who visits Israel and spies on his workers in Las Vegas. Possible Zionist? With several complaints from his hotel patrons, who are scammed to pay bogus unrefundable "resort fees", his hotel is called

Another profile to put on your black list are hotels and restaurants that do not support their local community. Look up events in your area and see if that Chain store, Fast Food joint, Indian hotel, gas station or Chinese restaurant supports local events. If they don't, do not do business with them!!!!

When you answer the call from this number (and all similar calls from this same company with the same voice) you hear a recorded message:
"You were called to participate in a survey, and now the survey time has expired. If you would not like to participate in any future surveys press '1' now."  This message is repeated once.

After pressing "1" you receive the following message:
"Thank you for your time; you're phone number will be permanently removed from our list."
This message is repeated 2 more times.
There are several phone numbers associated with this sames company with the same prerecorded message.

I have reported this SAME company with the SAME recorded voice that claims to be the "Political Survey Groups" to be removed from calling lists even though my CELL phone is on the do not call list. But they keep calling! The voice sounds similar to a voice from the Free IPAD scam posted on faux "Facebook" sites where "Facebook" is spelled wrong. I remember humoring the "contest" by signing up just to see where the contest would lead. It leads to a continuous bait and switch scheme where you constantly have to sign up for 3-5 additional company mailing lists whose requirements ask you to join more mailing lists whose requirements ask you to join more and more.
I received the call from the so-called "Political Survey Group" at 9:30 am on Sunday , February 19, 2012.
Once, about two months ago, I received a live call from a live person from a similar survey group whose questions were all about illegal immigration. The questions were different and the voice was different, so I assumed it was from a different company.

The problem is NOT solved until we get rid of the callers. Remember the bombing of the twin towers? We ignored it and brushed all observations of possible suspects under the carpet, until they CAME BACK and flew airplanes into the building.

The DO NOT CALL LIST is ONLY for Telemarkers selling something. Survey's, Non Profit, etc... are all LEGAL to call you

Phone rang and when I answered, no one would speak and no message was left.  I am sick of this on my CELL PHONE!

these people are a trip I do tech support for a living act like for the last 20 years and I know that there is no way to extract information from your cell phone what it wrong with you people are you really that paranoid I mean come on thats ridiculous this was a junk phone call for some political survey

I was excited, my opinion matters, then they asked me the same question 3 times. The whole survey was 5 questions, maybe 4, and then they said stay on the line to recieve your cruise and the guy says hello this is Habbib DAPeg, so i proceeded to to ridicule him about the quality of his stupid a** survey and he hung up on me!             I hope he calls back
