I have received a msg foe same guy Gary Jordan phone number 1 202 864 1257 he left me a VM saying that a was being listed as the primary subject in the case involved by the IRS ... I called the number to see what was going on and the accent of this individuals were from India! What should I do? Can anybody tell me how to report this! Thanks

I received two calls from 5853181107 from officer mike Jones with the irs.said I outed money and that I wad going to be arrested hour they catch whoever these people are..yeah foreign accent like east India

I received a call from 206-641-7014.  Indian guy named ross Taylor.  Told me the irs was investigating me for foreign illegal exchanges I had made.  Told me the police where coming to arrest me.  When I told him I had t made any such transactions he said he was part of homeland security act or something like that (accent Indian) and then told me he'd see me in court and hung up.  I keep calling back with no answer and now I get a busy signal.

Same thing here, got a call from 202-800-8553, claimed that I have a case the next day and they ask bunch of info. Definetly a scam.

I received a call stated from IRS and said t call this 202-808-3654. I called this number, same exact thing the person mentioned of tax evasion and criminal case is pending against you etc. I was kind of scared and called IRS.gov and sure this was a scam.

Its a scam and the irs does not call you! You would actually get a letter in the old fashion snail mail!

A guy with heavy Indian accent had left me two voicemails saying he was calling me from IRS and I needed to return his call immediately in regards to tax evasion issue. I was shocked/ scared so I returned the call immediately. He said in 2-3 hours cops will come to my house to arrest me so I better arrange for a legal representation. I asked what was my crime? His reply was you lied in your 2009 tax filing so IRS and Immigration will come to my house to seize my house, car, my passport and will also freeze my bank account. So I told him, I'm a law abiding citizen who has not done anything wrong and if anyone then H&R Block should be talked to since they do my taxes. Then he was like, okay okay if you have not done anything wrong then you need to just give me your credit card number immediately for $25000 deposit so we can discuss this case tomorrow at the court house. So I asked him which courthouse ( $25000 was a huge RED flag) and I wanted to bust his Indian balls, but he couldn't come up with the courthouse name fast enough! And I also asked what his name was and where was he calling me from.? His name and address was ...

I received 2 calls from this number. Both went to voice mail. I was told I was under a criminal investigation for under reporting taxes. I was asked to call back. The message was unclear but the name given was officer Mike Jones. When I did return the call, the accent was the same but name now became Ross Taylor with badge id SB 21019.He told me I needed a criminal defense lawyer!! Spoke to the IRS and their security dept is looking into it. It is obviously a scam. I also reported the number to the IRS phishing email address.

I have 3 messages from this number..... making it sound very scary.

Same phone number, same Indian sounding guy.  When I requested his Agent Number he gave me what he said was his IRS CID Fraud Division Agent Number 0769D21.  I am now filing an official complaint
with the FCC and with the IRS Criminal Investigation Division.  They will be able to contact this individual, and, hopefully, put him away for many, many years.  Let this be a warning to anyone else attempting to contact me with fraudulent information.

got a call from an India speaking guy named Gary Jordan telling me that i owed the irs money and i had to pay today. they said they would stay on the phone till i got the money order. if i didn't pay today then i would go to jail. scam city.

Got a call from number 202-600-4551. Sounds like a scam. They left me two voice mails. Both of them had exact wording and same tone (not a single difference in "a" or "the" and if a real person is calling it won't be very easy). I checked IRS website and they warned us about such scammer and report the number.

I have received the same or similar call as the people above from the same number, 202 600 4551.   I received a voicemail and the guy speaking on the voicemail said that something about "outstanding taxes."    I also was disconnected several times after 3 seconds within each phone call that I made.  When finally being able to talk to an individual, he gave me my name followed by an incorrect address that didn't match my address.  When calling a second time and being hung up on because I was displeased for how this representative was handling the call, I asked for his name and the name of the other individual who previously took my call.  The names of the individuals were "Shawn" or "Sean" or "John" White (last name) and Gary Long.   As one individual mentioned in this post, Joe Q Public,  both of the individuals had an Indian sounding accent.

I had min. Calls from same man callung said irs and ge a cop I called him out the irs told me its a scam and had me report to wash. Dc so I did well week later today the man ,alled I said give me ur name and were u from I come to u I ask again he hangs up I call again voice mail

They had been calling my cell phone.  I simply added the number to my block list.  Chances are they are operating out of the country (sounds like India) and using a number spoofer to make it look like they have a number in Washington D.C. It would be hard for anyone to catch these guys and it's a nuisance more than anything else, but hopefully our comments are useful to other people that have been contacted by these criminals.

see I have a slight case of Autism, and they called me twice also, I might just call Verizon Wireless and have them block the number, but I wanna find out who they are also!

Just got another call from these guys and answered as I want to get these guys busted.  I was unable to speak with a live representative.  I got the message they leave for voicemail and then the call disconnected.  I tried calling the number back and get a fast busy signal.  CHUMPS.

ya I got a call from these guys that said for me to call em back at 10:53am this morning, and a phone call a few minutes ago that said I needed 2 call them to discuss a critical issue, and they keep hanging up, when I call back, I am not sure if I am gonna block this number yet or not
