stop calling me

Been getting these calls for a few days now. Comes up on my caller ID as GOPAC (a Republican activist group) and the # is 202-607-2543.  I had sent an email to GOPAC to remove my number, got a reply that they did, but then got another call today.  I decided to answer this time and chew the caller a new @$$ but...lo and behold!...it was actually Capital One.

So it looks like Capital One (or an agency working for them) is using GOPAC's name and number as dummy info to get people to answer the phone.  I notified GOPAC and they weren't happy about that.

So beware if you're avoiding Capital One...don't answer this caller.

I have been getting harassed by Capital One for awhile now because of a mistake they made that they won't admit to. This number has called me twice today. There have been several others that are associated MRS who seems to do calls for Capital One too.

This  is MRS Associates---A Debt Collection Agency.  THey have been calling my home for nearly 3 months now.  NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE--I don't pick up unknown #'s.  Finally got fed up yesterday and picked up the MRS 202-367-9124 # and the guy was asking for a Megan---I told him --THERE IS NO MEGAN HERE!!! They have the Wrong number and they have been harrassing me for nearly 3 months sometimes up tp 4 calls a Day!!!!!!!How do I stop them?  I E-mailed a Cease and Desist Letter to their CEO--Saul Freedman.  They also call from 757-209-2045---410-968-7980--and 434-533-9007.
HELP!!!!!!PLEASE.  NO ONE in my household has ANY DEBT!!!!!!

same as "aggravated" -- they have called my company cell phone (not registered in my name) but will not leave a message. wonder how a air horn would work directed toward the mic of the phone.
anyone know who to report them to?

calls from all three numbers. 202-607-2543, 202-367-9124 and 410-968-7980. all from capital one and usually looking for an individual named gregory champaigne, never been him or heard of him. these people call about 5 times a day. once you tell them you are not this person they call from another number.

I had the same experience. They call looking for Teresa, you tell them they have the wrong number and take this number off their list.  They call you from a different number - 410-968-7980.

OMG!!!! I USED TO GET CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND THEN THEY STOPPED ALL OF A SUDDEN!

CALLS DOESN'T LEAVE MESSAGE ON RECORDER AND WHEN I ANSWER SAYS NOTHING IS FROM MRS ON CALLER ID

This number comes across Caller ID as MRS----MRS Associates----Debt Collectors.  They have been calling my number for nearly 3 months.  When I picked up the 202-367-9124 The guy was looking for a Megan.  I told him THERE IS NO MEGAN HERE.  I get a call this morning before I'm even out of bed from this number.  I have sent a Cease and Desist Letter to their CEO---I NEED THIS TO STOP.  THey also call from 757-209-2045----410-968-7980----and 434-533-9007.  We have NO DEBT at this house.  How can they harrass people like this when it is the wrong #?

This is MRS again----Debt Collectors. New Cell Phone number out of Washington DC.  This company needs to be Shut Down.  They have been harrassing me for more than 2 months now trying to get information on my sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just received a call from them today....and funny thing is we're not even Republicans.
