I gave money one time and they keep harassing me for money I told them to take me off their calling list a couple of months ago and they keep harassing me for money

I receive calls from the number often and no one is there.
How do we stop this.

I just got my 1st call from the number today, googled it and found this site.
I followed 'Annoyed's advice from a few pages back:

To stop these annoying phone calls, call (866) 348-8647 and press #1....(you do not have to listen to the message), then press #3 and it will ask for your 10-digit phone number to be removed from their list. Please note: It can take up to 30 days. If the calls do not stop, report them to the FTC.

Hopefully it works.

I got phone calls from this number and many others that I do not want to get

This guy keeps on calling me and hanging up it's weird

I've been getting annoying calls from this ACLJ group almost daily from multiple phone numbers.  Same old thing.  They want money which of course would find its way into the hands of the wealthy preacher Jay Sekulow who runs this organization.  Like rich preachers, they won't tell you about Proverbs 22:16 that says that he that gives to the rich (like rich preachers) will surely come to want.  Instead they beg for your money promising some blessing in return that never comes.  So please don't give to ACLJ or other groups run by rich preachers.  Other groups without the rich leaders often spend the money much more  where it will actually do some good.

This ACLJ group calls just about every day from multiple numbers obviously wanting money for the very rich preacher Sukelow.  Other numbers that this organization has called from are

Proverbs 22:16 says that he who gives to the rich (that includes rich preachers!) will only come to want.  So please don't give to this group or any group run by a wealthy leader that takes in money off the donations.  Giving is better done to other organizations that don't have rich leaders and certainly not ones that use phone spamming tactics like this one.  Latest call from this number came in at 8:16 AM this morning.   That should say something right there.

I keep getting phone calls from 202-607-2557, and as soon as my answering machine comes on they hang up, can you please stop them from calling me or I'll turn it over to my lawyer and see if they can locate who has this number and take whatever action to stop them,and if I've to I'll file a law suite.

Stop calling me!!!

WE CHRISTIANS WILL ALL PRAY FOR YOU, RENA.  I AM GLAD THAT I WON'T BE GOING WHERE YOU WILL GO AFTER OUR LIVES HERE ON EARTH ARE FULFILLED.

This number is on my caller ID every day and sometimes 3-4 times a day.

i called the number and after they picked up with a teleprompted message i hit the number 1 and then after it was transferred i hit the number 3. a messge came on and said that they would not be calling my number anymore and that by law they had 30 days to stop calling my number , but would make every effort to have it processed within a couple days.. FAIR ENOUGH.No more annoying calls from these fruit cakes..

THESE PEOPLE CALL ME AND NEVER SAY A WORD. I SAID HELLO AND THEN THEY HUNG UP.. IDIOTS! SOUNDS LIKE SOME COMPANY THAT CALS YOU AND AFTER YOU HANG UP  YOU GET A BILL LATER ONE WITH  $900.00 ADDED TO YOUR PHONE BUILL. I DONT THINK ITS THAT KIND OF COMPANY LIKE PEOPLE FROM NIGERIA OR PEOPLE FROM THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC THAT CALL YOU AND AFTER YOU ANSWER THE PHONE YOU ARE OBLIGED TO PAY FOR THE  PHONE CALL ADDING UP INTO THE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS.. AGAIN ITS PROBABLY NOT THAT BUT WHO KNOWS.. IF I DONT KNOW THE NUMBER ON MY CALLER ID I JUST DONT ANSWER THE PHONE.. SIMPLE AS THAT.. Received a call from this number at 8a.m. 10/5/11. I was asleep and by the time I got to phone they hung up. Phone rang 3 times. I am 83 yrs. old. How can I stop these calls?

This is the number for a Zionist lobbying organization. They try to equate themselves with conservative issues like abortion, or freedom of speach. Then they ask you to support Israel, which seems to be their ulterior motive. The "protocol" is a sheep costume. I asked them to take my # off their list, but I'm still getting calls from them, several a week. I'm on the national do-not-call list. Maybe if I show them my bank statement, they will go away.

Sekulow's brother Gary is the chief financial officer of both nonprofit organizations that fund his activities, a fact that detractors say diminishes accountability for his spending.

According to documents filed with the Internal Revenue Service, funds from his nonprofits have also been used to lease a private jet from companies under his family's control. And two years ago, Sekulow outsourced his own legal services from the ACLJ, shifting from a position with a publicly disclosed salary to that of a private contractor that requires no public disclosure. He acknowledged to Legal Times that his salary from that arrangement is "above $600,000" a year.

They call almost everyday....I don't answer thinking that maybe they will give up but they don't so now i just hang up on them

I'm had a few calls from this number. It is the ACLJ, The American Center for Law and Justice, www.aclj.org. I'm filing a complaint at www.donotcall.gov.  I encourage others to do the same. I did not know of them until I started receiving calls.  I had 2 calls that I did not answer.  I answered this morning at 8:45am and was given a number to call to be removed from the list.  I had no pen and paper ready to write.  Then a recorded message started and I hung up.

Unfortunately for you, God and Jesus are real and some day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.

Called the number back, pressed #1, then #3, then entered my tel.no that they were calling. The message claims they have 30 days to remove me from the list but will make every attempt to do so in the next couple days.

I am receiving calls from 202 6072557 twice a week.  I pick it up on the 2nd ring and they hang up. Is there anyway I can have these calls stopped.   I am on the ANO CALL list. Is there anyway I can find out who this is calling....besides dialing them back?   Thank you

JF tech makes a 70 phone call blocker,it's around 80 dollars + shipping. you might find it at amazon with free shipping.it let's them ring & ring and never reach anybody.I know this drives then nut's.

A phone call, once again,   after numerous calls from this number.   I had told them not to call here anymore about  3 months ago and it did stop for awhile and now we are right back to the same thing.  DO NOT CALL MY HOUSE ANYMORE.
