Have received several calls from this number on successive days.  No message left.

Received call from this number - no message left - no name on caller ID
Next day - call from 202-207-2611

The people from this # continually call here. We are on the do not call list and it is very anoying that they are still trying to reach us. We do not answer when they call.

Picked up the phone knowing full well it was a mark. As soon as the woman on the other end said, "Cancer Institute" I knew what I was going to say and let her say no more. "I am sorry but this phone is on the do not call list" and hung up. I then *69 the number, wrote it down, placed the number in google and came here to tell you all let these folks know that you have HAD IT WITH THEM. Good luck to each of you. AICR calls every year about this time looking for donations.  I have received calls 2-3 times per day for the past two weeks.  All calls appear to come from the Washington DC area (202).  Follow the link below to review their very poor record of services and ignore or hang up on their future calls.  It's the only way to put places like this out of business.

Thank goodness I am not the only one these people harass...thank you for the info on who they actually are!!

Same complaint as others.  The calls are incessant.  Comes through as unknown name but with the 202 number.  It must be a robo type call because it never stops.  Sometimes 5 times a day!!!!

Whitepages.com reports that this is a cell phone number. Might I suggest that a business soliciting through a cell phone isn't a business?

They hang up when the answering machine picks up the call.

They call EVERYDAY - do not even leave a message. Identifyer on the phone is AICR with 202607 2603. I want it Stopped! Even Call on Sunday!

They simply called asking for Mr. and Mrs. _____, the "Mr." having been dead since 1975 and the "Mrs" remarried since 1986 and now living in a different location and with an unpublished phone number.  We did have a relative die of a disease recently,  but it was not cancer related.

It's the American Institute for Cancer Research.  If you have had anyone in your family recently die from Cancer, these folks will worry you constantly for donations.

Thanks for the info!  I just punch the "talk" button then the "end" button because these jerks will let a "message" with the dial tone.

when i call it back I get 'thank you for calling American Institute for Cancer Research'..on this number and another DC number 202-607-2611, BOTH have been calling every night. This place is a bogus charity...I mean it exists, but it is NOT the American Cancer Society and I think they try to mislead. If you research Charity Rating resources, they only give it 1 star because the bulk of the money they receive goes to fun their own operating expenses..they don't actually DO anything to help anyone.
