Doesn't leave a msg and doesn't answer the phone.

American Institute for Cancer Research. New number. Did not hold to hear about addressing envelopes. These people won't go away. I block the number and the calls come from another number.

Receive about 2 calls a day from this number, and no one on the line, when I called the number I get a recorded message with no option to leave a message.  Average about 10 calls a week

Same thing - The phone rings - we pick it up - no one is there. I check our caller ID - it is coming from AICR - 202-606-2615. This is very annoying. I wish there was something we could do about this!!!

Us too.  Very annoying.  Keep running to see who is calling round the clock.  I'm also on the Do Not Call list.  Big deal:(

Same here. I got a call from the AICR two days ago about sending out solicitations to neighbors. I declined to do it. Calls from 215-607-2615 then started. Did not put two and two together until I found this site. Sorry to say folks, but "charities" are exempt from Do Not Call lists. Going to try blocking if this continues.

202-607-2615 - Is there any way to keep whoever is calling me from this number to stop?  It is very annoying - I get calls several times a day, but never pickup the phone.

Calls from AICR American Institute of Cancer Research ?  If you give money to any cancer group that is a part of this ourfit they can call you even if you are on the Do Not Call list.  Why? First charitable groups are exempt and second by giving money you have established a business relationship.
 How to stop?  First, do not answer.  Second, do not give money to cancer groups or if you do,  do not give them your phone number or email address.

Same thing with me- a call (at dinner time) and no one on the line.  I am on the "Don Not Call" registry too.

202-607-2617 they keep calling every day. I'm on the do not call list and do not want callers with blocked names calling for any reason. If some one with a real reason to call wants to talk to me they need not block their name.

I keep receiving  calls from this number, they call through out the day. When I check my answer machine of course no one is there. I wish they would stop calling because it's becoming very annoying.

Called this morning at 8:20am, of course no one is there . . . this is the second call this week from them.

If you call 1 202 607 2615 which is the American Institute for Cancer Research
and they answer, press 3 then when they ask for your phone number enter the entire ten digits. When this is confermed, press 1 and you will be removed from their call list within the next 30 days.

We get these calls all the time and I never answer them.  They call at all hours of day and night.  If anyone has an idea of how to stop them, please let me know!

I work 3rd shift and every morning now for 3 weeks i have been harrassed by these calls and no one is ever there. I just fall asleep and these jerks call and wake me up. I have gotten about 10 hours sleep in the last 3 weeks because of them. My neighbor passed away from cancer a year ago and i made a donation. I will never donate to cancer ever again because of these people. I WISH THEY WOULD JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! SIGH!!!!!!!

When this number comes up, I don't answer it and they don't leave a message.

They won't go away and have called numerous times

They call my mother who is very hard of hearing and cannot understand what they are asking several times a day; the first 6 numbers are the same followed by 2615, 2601 and 2603.

We have the same problem.  We do not answer.  We believe that this is a scam and not really the Cancer Research people.  We think that it is someone just checking to see if you are home - maybe to rob you.  We had calls from another
number that registered on the ID as an Inn.  When we called that Inn, it was someone who had stollen their number and scaming for something.  Thank God (well Bellsouth/AT&T) for caller ID.

I receive calls from 202-607-2615 and 202-607-2611 numbers about every other day.  However, I screen all of my calls via my answering machine and no message has ever been left.  I also re-recorded my answering machine's message to state that I am screening my calls and to leave a message.  Unfortunately, they still keep calling anyway and they never leave a message.  I am also on the do not call list but that doesn't help much.  There should be a special place in hell for these folks.

AICR calls two-three times a day. I never answer, no message left.  I had cancer several years ago, wonder how.....?

The calls are starting all over again.  They must run in a cycle.  I will not answer any of these calls.  One time I did pick up and when the lady asked me how I was, I said trying not to answer your calls.  She said we will call you until you answer.  It got to the point that some of them were calling every hour on the hour.  The No Call List is not worth anything when they let these numbers get through to us.  Thank goodness for Caller ID.

Get calls from this number late at night or early in the morning, We  have caller ID, and it comes up unknown name. We also are on the no call list. This needs to stop.

They call constantly, at all times of day, just called again and its Sunday morning.  I don't answer either.  I googled them and for anyone interested here is the information that came up if you want to contact them.  Maybe if everyone emailed and/or snail mailed them with a link to this site, it will give them a good idea of how they are viewed and stop this unwanted harassment.
