this 2026072746 is from BCR a collection agency in violation of federal law

When calls from BCR started up (due to the previous holder of my phone number being a deadbeat) I either let my machine pick it up, or when I was home I would pick up the call but not say anything.  

Their robo-dialer always hung up in both cases, and the calls became fewer and fewer.  I haven't gotten any for several weeks now.

And if you think blocking the number will work--yes it will, but then they will call from another number and another and another until your whole call block list is full.  They have dozens of numbers on their phone trunk.

Recieving calls, never leaves voicemail, just a beep and then silence.  Called back, blank line, no answer.

Personally, I think this is some kind of scam.  They keep calling my home trying to get a full social security number and date of birth for my husband.  They say they are debt collectors but they will not tell me what debt they are trying to collect until I give them his social and DOB.  I've blocked this number as well as the other one they use ending in 2744.  The information they provide to me to assure me that they are not ID thieves is an address where we have never lived.  When you call the number back, no one answers the phone.

It was BCR preventing me from using my phone to dial out and wanting to waste my time and equipment further by calling 1-800-831-7311. I returned their waste of my time by programming a machine to call them over and over again and then hang up when they answered.

These people that call, call all the time. And some how they have my job number. Which really gets on my nerves. Thank god I have a understanding boss and a direct number to my desk otherwise I probably would be fired from all the phone calls I get from them. And when I answer they ask for someone else. I tell them that they have the wrong number but they still call. This is becoming a bit much and I may have to get my job involved. I just dont understand.

Caller ID is BCR  18008317311.  Its a landline in Washington DC.  Bureau of Collection Recovery Inc., 7575 Corporate Way, Eden Prairie, Minnesota 55344. These are AT&T's pond scum debt collectors.  They will not clear your debt. They don't even care if they are seeking the former owner of the phone number.  In my case they wanted me (not a negro) to pay for the funeral of a negro minister  (250-07-4832) who died in 2000 per social security death list. Seems that his negro felon son (229-96-7687)  (who died in 2003 per social security death list) was too cheap to pay for his Dad's funeral.  I suggested that they go dig the ole boy up, dump his a** out on the ground and repossess the casket to settle the debt since he is not my kin. Actual debt holder probably is Edith (his wife) or Gregory (other felon son).  She still resides at 3138 Truxton Road, Augusta Georgia 30906 (he's in the pen).  One of them has a social security number that ends in 0081.

I have been gettin many calls a day from this number and no one leaves a message.  Please can you get them to stop.

This person always calls then hangs up when you answer....super frustrating

Debt collection agency looking for some woman I've never hear of. Keep getting calls from them. I call them back just to chat and annoy them.  They get pretty peeved that I'M wasting THEIR time.

This number calls at all hours, no answer when you pickup, has called at least a dozen times in the last month. Web stites indicate a debt collector. I have not given this number out to any business and have no outstanding debt.

I keep getting calls from 305-432-9259 and 1-888-714-2338 and 202-607-2732 about 10 seconds after I answer they hang up. I have phoned the number back from a pay as you go Go Phone I use to trick people into answering their phone, as it show up unknown on caller ID & they can never trace the call back to me & when they answer or it goes to a message saying " you have reached BCR no one is avail. to take your call...." I leave the message that I want the following number removed from their call list...and I leave the number that they just called me at - which has been mostly my business line.

I rcvd 2 calls from them so far.  Each time they asked for me by name & address then hung up.  WTF? very annoying.  I just added them to my call blocking list via my Android phn - so no more worries - TA TA BCR!

Whoever is at this number keeps calling my cell phone (every other day for several weeks) without leaving a message. When I pick up the person hangs up.

Have been getting calls from this number last few days. I called them today, and they asked for my number and if I knew some spanish named person (can't remember the name). I told them I didn't know him and they said they would take me off their list, but when I pressed repeatedly about who they are and what they do, she kept saying, "We are BCR". I'd say, yes I know that, what does your company do? "We are BCR". She finally just hung up on me never telling me what their company does. Super shady. I hope they aren't using my info for something fishy since they have my number, and have heard my message/name.

The caller ID says "BCR 180008317311". I checked that number in 800notes. Here is an entry copied from there:

I get constant and aggressive calls from this number , they want to contact Carlos Valente, my ex-husband, repeatedly I explain to then, I no  have any information of Carlos Valente since 2006, but call me again and again, today my actual husband answer the call, he explain the same, but caller said to my husband, he (Carlos Valente, my ex) was contact at my phone# recently, The caller liar, and now I m in trouble with my Husband, all because this Company is NO PROFESSIONAL.
