I just received a call from this number concerning a rally against the Mexican Embassy in downtown Washington, D.C. to be held I think tomorrow to free our marine-- a rally to free the marine who inadvertently made a wrong turn and wound up in a Mexican jail.  The website wanted cash donations.  Personally, I believe that I direct appeal should be made to Chuck Hagel about this.  If a recue mission went after the release of Sgt. Bergdahl who was being held by the Taliban in Pakistan, it seems to me that a similar mission could be mounted to free this marine from the Mexican jail.  In addition, rather than to exchange five Mexican bandits for one marine, why not  simply declare war on Mexico?  The Mexicans have been seeding their drugs, their criminals and their trash over the U.S. border for too long.  They have no respect for us and our laws.  I have simply had it with the Mexicans!  I think that it has ben past time for the U.S to play hardball with Mexico.  However, as to whether or not this call was a legitimate plea for  political action or another scam, it's hard to say.  The website WWW Free Our Marine,which I was asked to contact after receiving the call, did ask for money.  My receipt of the call was also a Do Not Call List violation, but in this one instance, I may let reporting the call to the FTC pass.

Sum random guy sounded indian i wanna say said his name was officer jack calling from the irs wanted a thousand dollars and for my attorney to call.. i told him flat out he was a scammer got defensive and nasty.. do u kno who u r ralking to blah blah blah is what came out of his mouth.. hd cudnt give me his i.d number nothing...

either goto the guys office and kick 'em in the nuts (physical address and suite number posted in previous message, AND YES IT IS REAL!)

or  call the number, the direct line, of the person in charge of the robo-calls or just shut the hell up!

I got a call from this number and it was talking about Romney, right. Ha, Ha, Ha. Election time has definitely passed so why would I need to be receiving a call from this number. It needs to stop NOW.

Received first call from this #. The CID said Romney Ryan.

Odd that an organization criticizing telephone solicitation is doing the same thing and,

Got the call from "Romney-Ryan" on April 24, 2013.  Did not answer; caller did not leave a message.  Surely, this a not a political call from the Romney-Ryan campaign nearly six months after the election.  Has the smell of SCAM.  I marked the call type as telemarketer, but I doubt it is a legitimate telemarketer.

Caller ID states Romney Ryan... recording states that Obama is coming to everyone's home to take away their guns, and I should press one and send money to prevent him destroying our second amendment! I am pissed........this is so NOT true, and angers me beyond belief!  I guess they assume that just because I live in Oklahoma, I am a regressive, gun toting republican!   LIES!!

This number is being used by a conservative PAC to enlist support in going after "gun-grabbers". Another fear-based angry group, judging by the recorded message.

They are political calls from the DC area.  Call and Write the white house so they are bothered by calls.  The  Government gives out list of phone numbers for organizations because it is not illegal or a privacy issue (yep that is right), so perhaps they should be harrassed by phone calls like everyone else is!

I have had repeated calls from t202-609-7609.  On occasion I have answered and told them NOT to call me again and remove my name from their list.  When I don't answer the call, I do not get a message left on my machine.  They have been calling both my land line and cell phone.  

I want them to stop!

I think the phone petitions are a scam too. A fool and his money are soon parted.

My caller ID said Ryan Romney so I'd think it was a political call. Except I got the call on February 15, 2013, well after the election. I assume it's a scam whatever it is.
