Gentleman called, stating I hav450,000 back on May 21. He said I've been contacted several times by mail; with no response by me. That is why he is calling me today. He could arrange for the winning check to be delivered to my house tomorrow if I get a Money Transfer reciept for $2850. He let me know that the total fee was supposed to be $4000, but the processing company is going to cover $1450 of that, reducing my fee. How nice of those people! : ) He stated over & over that the winnings are tax free. I asked why they couldn't just deduct the fee from the winnings; he said it can not be done because a different company has written the check in full to me directly, no way for them to take a portion out before. So I then stated you're telling methat I need to transfer only $2850 to whereever you tell me, get a reciept, & tomorrow when UPS delivers my check and I hand them the tranfer reciept I will be able to then deposit the check into my bank account for $450,000. He also stated that I would recieve then by regular mail a refund check for 3000 as a thank-you.
Well I told him this sounds too good to be true & I would not be able to upfront that kind of money so I hung up. He can try the next person. Crazy people!
