I don't think he will be bothering anyone again. At least at this number. He cut it off this afternoon it appears. Kid was scared of a lil' gunsmoke that the "GSA" lit under his a**.

http://www.gsa.gov/Portal/gsa/ep/contactus.do
will give you the list of all the employees in the washington dc area. Justin Anderson is not listed, how shocking.
I reported it to the GSA Fraud Dept. seems like this isn't a new thing for them.

I just got a call from Justin Anderson of the US General Services Administration notifying me that I won 450k and all that i need to do is wire 2,750 to insure my package that will have a check from bank of america for my winnings. i had to act quick because the deadline was tomorrow. i played along and got all of the banking information, which i plan to report to the ftc. he wants the money wired to a citibank account in costa rica.

The caller at 202-629-9573 is still at it, trying to scam a relative in NJ with the same story. He said his name was Justin Anderson, he works in the General Services Administration, in the fraud department. He wanted $2K in order to send a package for $450K won in a clearinghouse sweepstakes contest. When we refused to verify information and challenged him, he became verbally abusive. The police traced the origin of the number to an address between H and I St Washington DC. Don't fall for it.

I was also told that he was from US General Services Administration and that I had won 450,000.00 from Publishers Clearing House from a sweepstakes I entered 1n 2007. Since I have not entered the sweepstakes I knew something was wrong. Then he said I would need to send them some money, (I forget how much & what he said it was for) I new it was a fraud and hung up.

I got a call from the same "US General Service" a few minutes ago. I was also told that I won 450,000 dollars, and I needed to send tax money within 48 hours to claim it. I spoke to them for a few minutes, and said I didn't need 450,000 dollars, nor did I want it. .......Silence. And then he said, after I asked to be removed from the winning list: "What do you mean? You do not understand. You just won 450,000. Don't you want it?"
No.
*sigh* Alright sir have a great day.
LOL SCAM.

I received a call from a young man indicating he is with the US Generl Service office that works to prevent sweepstakes fraud. My husband had won the second place Publishers Clearing house prize. $450,000. To claim the prize they needed to speak to a decision maker. We were also told that we needed to pay an amount up front for taxes $2750.00. Clearly a scam.

I was told that he was from US General Services Administration and that I had won 450,000.00 from Publishers Clearing House. I could have the check in several hours but I would need to have a check for 4500.00 for tax purposes. He also gave me a number to call for verification:
800-483-5175. The person answer the phone answered with Hell0 instead of like any legitimate company would, by giving the name. Only he told me I could make it for 3000.00. This is definetly a scam. I reported it to the FTC. Be careful of this scam.
