Any political call isn't worth my time. I know politics are a necessary piece of what makes America work.
But it doesn't have to invade my home with stupid surveys. They aren't getting my money, my support or buying my vote.

These folks get your number just like anyone else from any phone list that ever there was. I never belonged to or signed anything for a union. If you can, call block them or just don't answer. No reason to get you knickers in a twist.  

If you like politics - get involved with your group. Send me mail I can toss, but don't knock on my door or call me!

Probably more like 'attempting to get MORE personal private info' from everyone for future tactics to use against you if you don't stay in step with their childish policies, rules, regulations and unjust mandates! Any call from (202) Washington, D.C. is a scam. Our politicians on both sides of the aisle are liars and scammers as well as the lobbyist that fill their pockets. That's how they spend their lives in political office. Caller ID shows AFL CIO. No message left. I don't know or care what they wanted to tell me.

No it isn't.  I'm not a registered voter, and had a new phone installed with a new number and they called the 1st day we had the phone and haven't stopped.  Aggravating bunch, I work nights I don't need woke up 2 times a day for robo calls.  Do Not Call list doesn't work cause it's a political call.  Now to see if I can ban their number.

Keep getting political calls from the AFL CIO.  They still continue to call even after I called the number back, got a recording, and left a message to please remove my number from their call list.

**AFL-CIO for a politcal/campaign call.** Stumbled upon this page trying to figure out who was calling me, and instead I fell into a bunch of garbage, politcal rhetoric. I'd blab about my own political affiliation/opinion here, but this not the the proper public forum for that... AT ALL...  (nor am I even close to being pompous enough *coughcough*)

Got a message from AFL-CIO on who to vote for UNION judge wanting to overturn act 10....yeh more money for public unions and less for taxpayers....more of my union dues going to the afl-cio and democratic party, yet I don't know one union member who is a democrat.....so I called back and left a message thanking them for letting me know who NOT to vote for. NOTE..they are teaching "white privilege" in public schools here... crazy s***...opposing judge vows to investigate. AFL-CIO fat cats off my paycheck...starting to hate my union!

This was a call from supposedly a company if Florida calling with a survey that started out about the economy, then I hung up.  Called at least twice this evening.  It did say AFL-CIO on our caller ID.  I have no time for the AFL-CIO and anyone associated with them.  We don't do phone surveys either.  And yes the "Do Not Call" list is a big waste of time and money!

I blocked this number prior to the election but now on Sunday, 11/18/2012, they called 4 times in 1 hour according to my log. Best I can find they are moaning about the fiscal cliff and how unions will be hurt.

They have called me 6 times today! Its noon time now.

I received a message on my cell from this number.  It's the AFL-Cio and was telling me what a bad man Josh Mandel is.

Answered on second ring. Immediately after I said Hello, loud and clear, click....  disconnected.....
All calls are Automatically Logged and recorded which preps me to attack them on their next lovely call. Nobody beats me when it comes to loud verbal assaults and I take pride in doing it. I like to do it to those who are too ignorant to get a real job which requires active working brain cells and a thought process.
They sit there like a retard looking at their monitor. When you answer the phone they have less than a second to read the name and start spewing out garbage because you are already on the line. That's why frequently nobody is there because they are too stupid to read your name that quick. They should put down the needle and look @ all the stains on their ceiling.

If you were to call them and offer up a verbal assault it might be considered harassment but if they call you and that's what they get, and that's not harassment per my phone provider.
Calls here used to be about 4-8/day. Now about 1-3/week. That's the key to winning this war. You must treat them as the scum they are, putting them right in their place, making them wish they had their GED.

Political robocaller.  Usually they get your number from voter registrations.  All I can suggest is to not give your phone number when you register to vote.  In many states voter registration comes as part of renewing your driver's licence, so it sort of escapes you that your phone number is automatically released.

These calls are getting more frequent,  very frustrating, no one on the other end and leaves no message.  We are on the Do Not Call List,  but that doesn't seem to make any difference.  I am totally fed up with these annoying calls all hours of the day and night.  Does anyone know who to contact about these calls and actually get some help to stop them???

Another political survey call!  Don't know what's worse.  Waiting to see how this horrible election turns out or hoping it happens soon so I don't get these calls anymore!!!!
