AICR is the American Institute for Cancer Research. It is their telemarketing company calling you for fundraising. They call from a variety of area code 202 numbers.

To stop the calls:  If you go to their web site, scroll down to the footer and click on "Do Not Call policy."
Click that.

Received the latest call from AICR. They are blocked but use several  numbers.

This charity is not rated highly by charity rating orgs.

Daily calls from alcr it is about cancer treatment for your daughter of which I have none. sometimes the calls come in the middle of the night.

Called 8:15am today. Used their link to unsubscribe. Link appears legit. and it is anti-robo hacker sensitive. I'll post again if they don't stop.

Calls all the time using different phone numbers (this being just one of them) and never leaves a message.

I even get calls after 9PM

They call every other day stating they are from the Cancer Institute of America. When you call back they ask you to press one for more information. Nothing happens. I would like to take their phone and stuff it into their mouth piece. What a headache these people are. It is an auomatic call recording. Does anybody overseas get these whacked phone calls?

This number calls everyday it seems & since it's automated, I cannot tell them to remove my number. 202-640-4030 comes in as Wash DC Call on my caller ID

Thank you for the information.  I just sent an email to ask to be removed from their calling list.  I blocked one number and they continue to call on other numbers.  ATT U-verse only allows 20 numbers to be blocked and I receive an average of 5-7 new calls a week from people wanting money.  It is getting to the point that I am ready to discontinue my landline.  I resent paying for something that is constantly annoying.  Yes, I am on the do not call register and it does not work.

This Number has called 3 times in the last 3 days.  Caller ID says AICR, didn't answer call each time, they never left a message.  Just blocked this number so I won't have to hear their calls again.

AICR on the caller ID which apparently stands for American Institute for Cancer Research.  No one on the line when I punched "on".

Called 5-28-2013 @ 14:40, nothing on line when answered.

No response when I first answered but seeing the name on the Caller ID (ConservativePat) I waited so that I could say "I'm a Liberal Democrat...you soooo do not want to talk to me!!!"  Lady was nice and said "OK...have a nice day."  Quite fun, actually.
