Go to your local community charity.  (Red Cross, etc)  See if you can get some advice on how to better care for your children and yourself.  Maybe after this is sorted some educational course to prevent this happening again?  

Your very poor language skills suggests to me, you should NEVER hand out ANY money to someone you don't know until you get some advice beforehand.  If they say you need the money first, just hang up or walk away.

Try and remember.  Nothing comes for free.  If it looks too good to be true... It's probably is.

I just recieved a call from a 202 407 9711 number telling me that i have been selected for a $9200 grant thats a once in a life time deal . Told me to go to a local store purchase a green dot card told me to put $195 on there then once i loaded the money to go to my bank and they would send me my 9200 .

I received a phone from a man calling from +1001211233 saying that they picked 2500 people from doing taxes to receive a government grant of $7500 and you have been chosen. He then gave a conf# TA104, saying that i can pick up the $7500 today and to call 202-640-5461 so that they can send me the money. I called that number and was told by a female to go to CVS pharmacy and put $300 on greendot card and call her back with credit card#. Was on my way there to do so when my friend mentioned it was a scam and his friend got scammed out of $140. So we turned around and I confirmed on the internet that is was indeed a scam.

I received this same call trying to get me to get a greendot money pack and read the number off the back which will give them access to what ever the amount on the card is.  Per Chris Walton from the government grant dept.  this is a one time offer from the government of $8400.00 with a small processing fee of $215.00.  He then had the gall to tell me not to let the people in CVS/Walgreens know the money pack was for because they would charge a higher fee.  What a load of bull!!!.

Received a call from unknown caller who said I was to receive $7000 in grant money from the federal government to call 202-640-5461 grant# KL155 to verify, I did not call.

I just got called from that number and I'm scared of how they got my information ??

here is a new number i was called from202 559 4607 i went and bought a prepaid card cause it sounded strange, i deposited 20 dollars on it cause i was not about to give these people that i didnt know my real account number, what loosers!

You NEVER have to pay money to receive a grant!  Any time you're asked to pay to receive money, it's a scam - NO EXCEPTIONS!

I almost fell for this can you believe this I almost gave them money they said to go to westurn money gram and to put 300.00 on a green dot card and in 15 min I would receive my 300 plus 7500,00 back on that same card .

They  continue because people fall for them....and the perps make money; they are off shore and untouchable.

I bet you voted for "Hope and Change" and thought 'Obamacare' was going to be free, too.

I got the same call; only was a guy with a thick Caribbean accent; had him on the phone for 20 minutes with my best 'watermelon accent';  the only folks dumber than those that fall for this are the guys doing it.  LOVE it;  telephone solicitors exist for my entertainment.....

This number is now being used by AICR (American Institute for Cancer Research) for funds and if you block their calls, you will receive another shortly from another number, been there, done that, They even have a Fakebook page set up too at you can visit that at https://www.facebook.com/pages/American-Institute-for-Cancer-Research-AICR/107761702578379 and they claim to be a registered 501(c)(3) Charity Organization that does research or, in other words, a telemarketer that calls you every day asking for money.Called us yesterday and when I blocked that number they called again today at 11 am on this number 202-640-4030 but didn't leave a message so that means, yep you guessed it, robo calling. But, they are right in the middle of DC where the FCC and Congress allows this because of their "permit" as a Charity Organization. Thanks a lot!

I received a call today from Victoria at 000-012-1233. She spoke very poor English and proceeded to tried to convince me that I had received a $7500 award for not declaring bankruptcy, paying my bills on time and for filing income tax.  The money was being given out by the Federal Grant Department.  I responded, "You definitely have the wrong person".  She continued with her script and gave me the phone number 202-640-5461 to call with a confirmation number of VT143.  She advised I could get cash, Western Union, prepaid Visa card or a direct deposit into a bank account.

They sent a message about a scam

I do not appreciate these scams!! They want me to go to a Walmart and spend $290 to verify my info then wait 15 minutes for a Money gram!! I don't think so.

Got a call from a man saying he is Paul Gilbert form US Grants.  Asked for my Birth date and address and said I can get a grant from the US Govt and to call 202-640-5461.  The original call to me was blocked.

i got the same call just as unknown and they called me none stop for a week straight till i answered last night they told me i had a free gov grant of 7,000 to pay of all the debt i'm in. i called the number and gave them the conformation code the guy gave me and she told me that i need to put a down payment of 250 to get and that the money would be refunded to me soon after. i knew it was to good to be true

How to report this scam ? I got a call from  this # they told me to send them 299. And I will get a grant for 7500.
