This is just insane. I think they get away with this harassment just because they are a non-profit group.  Non-profit my a**... they make big money off of all the money they steal from everyone.

Let alone the fact this gives the religeon a bad name.  But what do they care.  All they care about is the money they can steal from you.

I have been receiving these calls long before Hillary was running for office.   Have no idea who it is coming from but twice this week.  Am sure it is a telemarketing company, but find it quite disgusting.

No, I would never send that woman a donation. In fact, I should send her and her husband a bill.

But I did receive a call from this 202 652-4589 number this evening. I suppose your donation to the "anti-christ" had nothing to do with the reason they called you.

We get calls all the time from this number.  The ID box reads "Concerned Women."  They must not be too concerned because they never talk.  I do wish someone could stop these calls.  My husband works night shift and it wakes him.

go to the website cwfa.org and choose to conact them.  then you can choose the option to be taken off their call list.  don't know if this will do any good or not.  i just found out about this.  i am also going to try to call this # i found on their site and let them know to remove me from their list.  12026527000 good luck!

I have been getting calls from Concerned Women from this number.  I asked to be taken off the calling list.  Now I am getting calls from 202-652-4590.  This is the 3rd number they have called me from.  So taking your name off the list on their phone request does not work.  

If we just called and hung up all the time we would be charged with harrassment.

I too get many calls from this organization.  After being just as fustrated and unable to get the calls to stop, I went to their website www.cwfa.org and learned more about this organization.  I found that they do good work and fight for good causes.  Now my husband and I are happy to answer their calls and and support them in donations through out the year.  Go to their website and learn more about them, you might feel them worthy of your support too.

Didnt know who the caller was but the number ID'd as Washington DC.
They left no message.

P.S.  There seems to be some issue about what the organization is called.  From what I understand "Concerned Women of America" is a subsidiary of the "American Center for Law & Justice".  I'm hoping this clears things up, but really, does it matter either way?  What difference does it make?

Two postings wrote that you can call the number back and will receive a message instructing you how to remove your # from their call list within 30 days.  This is absolutely true.  (I did it two minutes ago.)  I suggest all of the annoyed people here try that.  Their number (again) is 202-652-4584.  It stinks that it'll take 30 days but in the meantime, I won't take their calls and have instructed everyone in my house to do the same.

Yes, I'm fine with freedom of speech - but not with using freedom of speech as a shield to annoy people round the clock. I'm okay with getting a call from a non-profit every once in a while, even though it's unsolicited and even though I'm on the do-not-call list. But having the phone ring every other morning is too much - what about my freedom to not be annoyed? These organizations should call once, and if no one picks up, leave them alone!

Hmmm. Must be a reading/comprehension problem. And Linda does have the right to free speech, as the others do. They can be crybabies all day long and she can point out how childish they sound. - so what was your point there?  And it seems more like the others who need to "calm down", getting worked up to the point that they were was far from "calm" and I think she did a service in helping us rid the world of chronic whiners one post at a time.

From reading the entries, I'm so very happy that "Linda" is not on the road.  Her level of hostility & anger would definitely correlate to lost lives thru road rage.

Ive been receiving annoying calls from these people for a week or so.  I googled their name and found this site.  

They are apparently a conservative women's foundation.  I am all for their right to do what they do, but they should leave people like me alone who don't wish to be a member.  What really ticks me off is the fact that when I answer, they hang up. So, I have no way of telling them to stop calling.  Has anyone been successful in stopping them from calling?  If so, how?

Received a call at 8:48PM Have been receiving other calls as well. Due to this invasion of calls we will seek a way to legally consider this harassment and look for money from these harassing unsolicited calls and sue them for damages. That should work.

This number calls me about 3 times per day.  it is the most annoying thing and it shows up as "concerned women" on my caller ID.  Does anyone know what these people want??  I guess I should actually talk to these annoying people sometime.

I've received 2+ calls from this #, all of them during the day when no one is home.  No msgs left.  Caller ID said it was from "Concerned Women of America".  I called back and got msg., but was given an option to have my # removed from their call list. So I did!
