Just starting getting calls from this number. 5 in 2 days. Had already turned off message machine because of no message calls, but number shows up on caller ID.  Glad to know I can ignore them and how to go thru the do not call steps.

I just tryed to find this number using a reverse directory and there's nothing listed, so I'm guessing that makes it a cell phone like someone mentioned.  My caller ID entry lists it as "Donor Care Center" 202-652-4595, I know from the  area code its Washington DC.  I just received my first call from them a few minutes ago, and it bothered me...They just sat silent on their end of the line through several 'Hellos' before hanging up, because you can hear the sounds of a busy call center in the background. It's as if (again like someone mentioned) they were checking to see if someone's home.
We are also on the National Do Not Call Registry...however noone seems to be honoring that any longer.  Was there an expiration date for registering? I mean are we supposed to re-register every so many years? The worst thing about this is someone in my family has recieved donation treatment for lymphoma, so their calling in this manner is cruel, hurtfull, rude and damages the credibility of legitimate organizations. They need to be stopped!

This annoying call comes everyday sometimes 2 and 3 times.  They do not leave a message.  What can I do to get rid of them, I've registered on the Do Not Call list but that hasn't been 30 days yet maybe in a week or two this will take place.  They also have another number 866 241 3342

They claim to be working for fighting the blood disease lymphoma. I told them to send me their package. I have no intention of mailing any envelops for them.  I believe this is total scam. This is a good cause being played by a bunch of scam artist

The number is to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society located in Washington DC. The Society is legitimate. A suggestion to those who get calls and have them identified on their Caller ID - call the number back and see if anyone answers, or if it self-identifies the number. If you call back this number it tells you exactly where it comes from. As one who has a granddaughter with bone marrow cancer, I hope that those who do answer will consider talking to these folks and helping solicit donations for their organization. I realize there are a lot of scam calls out there, but this is not one of them. I, too, get tired of receiving unsolicited calls; but, I wanted to take a little time to take away the mystery on this one. Responder from Umatilla, Oregon

Been getting these to.  Regarding the no call list, I believe charities (along with politicians - that'll start picking up real soon) can call even if you're on the list.  And people doing polling.

Once I get a call like this I simpley block the call on my phone most new phones now have a blocking system built in thats the last I hear from them if they come back on another # I block that as well ...Hope this helps

They appear to be legitimate, where they send you a leukemia-lymphoma packet to send to 10 neighbors (a neighbor participated).  They call ALL the time several times a day.  I just called them back, reaching a recording, and if you listen a bit longer, they offer to put you on the 'do not call list' by pressing 1.

Calls 6-8 times a day.  Two rings and stops.  If answer, hangs up.

i have received 6 calls in the past 4 days.  They started calling Friday at 3pm and haven't stopped.  They called me this morning at 8:02am!  Caller id says donor care center 202-652-4595.  No messages.  I am registered with the national do not call registery and I am still getting calls!  How can we get them to stop?

They call 2-3 times a day and leave no messages on my home phone and well as my work phone/business line.  I have registered my business line and home line with the Do Not Call Registry over 4 months ago.  Apparently the Do Not Call doesn't work either.  These people are annoying!

I receive 2-3 calls per day from this number for the past 6 months.  I WANT IT TO STOP NOW!!!

DONORCARECENTER has called me for the last two days, the first time it left a message

2026524595  Washington DC number.  The message said it was a congressman inviting me to a live town hall meeting on the phone.  He left his name, and it was Tom Price.

Second day they called they did not leave a message.

The Donor Care Center called saying they were from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation.  They asked me to mail out six letter asking for donations. I foolishly agreed thinking I would do this to save the foundation some money.  The next day they called back to confirm and told me I would be collecting donations from the letters I sent and then sending them a check.  I refused.  Sounded like money laundering to me.  Since I refused they have been harassing with calls two times everyday seven days a week.

called 8 times in 4 days...no message...hanging up before my VM even picks up.
