Im on the phone with them right now with this screen up and I told them to send the money postage due and I would pay them back. They say that to MAIL it to me there is a $99 processing fee. I said if that is the case then I will pay it when I get the money. They hung up when I informed them I wasn't going to give them the fee up front.

I just got the call too and I'm not trying to go to jail! I don't even know how these people got my number!

Yeah I got the call from these suckers and they all most got me. They hit me with that same stuff about getting the green dot card and stuff . they wanted me to ask my family for the money man they are crazy. So I called the dude back and just told him you all are full of s*** and you need to do something better with your time and hung up. People please be aware that this is a scam.

I just got a call from these [people stating that the government wants to give me $9000.00 because I have paid my taxes on time never filed bankruptcy or been arrested. Stated that I would need to give bank account or credit card number to apply this money...NOT! So Catherine told me to go to Western Union and get a reloadable voucher with my name for $180.00 and then she would be able to apply the 9000.00 I figured if the government wants to give me money they already know where I'm at. She then stated to call her back at 202-657-4595 ext 9643 ask for Catherine..Good luck Catherine because you will just be waiting..A sucker I'm not

It is a scam.
The government does not offer grants to individuals for personal use.
It is a scam ran by off shore con artists to trick you into sending unrecoverable money to them, you get nothing in return.

The only legitimate avenue for government grants is through www.grants.gov which is the official US government webs site for grants.

Just received a phone call from this number and they said I was able to get 9,000.00. Also said alls Ihave to do is go to a western union and put like $175.00 on it and call him back with the numbers on the back of it then he would send me the money. Then I asked him his name and he said john and that it was money from the government. Then I told him that Iwould think about it. So after I hung up I looked this number up and thought I would leave a me message.

Just got the same call 202-657-4595 sd I was awarded a grant if $900, I was given the num to call and a approval#NE313.. Call the num fem sd I have to but a green dot card and put $189 on it and call her bk, I sd to her I think it was a scam bec if the government want to send me a grant they would just send me a chk, she sd no mam I am lidgimate and in 15 min you will have the money, I sd to her I don't have that much, her question was how much I have ,I sd about$25 she started telling me to barrow from a friend or family and even if its $100 she will help me out, I told her I will call her bk and hung up.. Don't fall for there b***s***, I hope someone find these s*** heads and kill them for doing this to hard working people..

i got a call and my caller ID was just a number 1, but person calling referred me to 202-657-4595, claiming that the federal government had a large sum of money for me. I was an obvious lie, but I called the number just to hear the lie. These people need to be caught and prosecuted. I welcome ideas about what we can do.

i got the same call and they told me to go to wal greens  and get a greendot money volutures card my husband had bough one of those greendot money pack and got 600 took from him can anyone tell me if its a real scam or what

yes i just received a call from a man stating his name is Jeremy and i just got pick for a federal grant for 10,000 tax free wanted some information said i did not have any bank account ask if i had any credit cards and i told him no did not sound right. so he had me call this # 202-846-1116 then a lady answered wanted me to go get a green dot money vulture reload card and put $290.00 on it then they even gave me an ID #DR7035  i asked her why do i have to pay to get a free grant,
, her answer was its coming from New York. that is really a scam people don't fall for it

I knew it was a scam when they said I was selected cuz I pay my bills on time and I don't have a criminal background lol

I just received a call from them so i googled the number to find out and I'm glad I did. He said his name was james smith and I was selected by the govenment to receive a $9000 grant. He barely spoke english and wanted me to put $300 on this green dot money pack that's suppose to be a yellow form. This is a complete and total scam and I'm so glad i did my research.

They called me, _ times in one morning, then told me I was approved for a $9000 grant. Then they seemed very defensive when I told them I had evidence it was all a big scam.

I got a call from a restricted number. Saying the govt is giving me grant of 9000 because I paid my taxes on time and have no criminal record. Only 1500 people are offered this. I had to call 2026564595 and talk to the person manager to get the money. Thanks for letting me know it's a scam

I just received a call from these people saying I got a grant from the government I wen along with what they where saying cause I knew it was a scam so I called the 2026574595 number back and I let them know I knew it was a scam and the man cursed me out lol all I could do was laugh cause he mad that I know what they where up to. So please don't believe anything these people say it is a BIG SCAM.  All the 202 numbers are.

I didnt just get one call i got three in a row!! with two different stories and yes i couldnt understand them i asked then for an official website and proof or a document of some sort to prove this crap. they tried to just keep convincing me to fall for this free money while wanting my personal information. SCAM this just makes me want to find these discussting peaple  and choke them...... Please people have some sense, money does not come free

The same thing happen to me am glad I didn't do it. It sound good but don't fall for it

Crazy Caller Scam

I received a call from phone number 222-231-323 unknown name. I was told that I was selected to receive $10,000. The lady I spoke to said her name was Michelle. She explained to me I qualified for a Debt Relief through the government and I could receive cash or through my bank account. I was told to call this number 202-657-2595 and give them this code # AK005 and I would receive $9,000.00 from Western Union. This is nothing but a S-C-A-M!

I recently received a phone call stating I was chosen to receive a 9500 grant from the government... obviously this is a scam from all the numbers that are posted on this...

I have received the same call with the same information about being selected for a $9000 grant.......that's a joke. I never called back, I know it was a scam.   you are right, the government don't give you money without documentation.   beware!

This number also called me saying I had been selected for a 9,000 dollar grant from the government. I didn't bother calling it back. Everyone knows the government isn't just going to give you money...

It February 11,2014 and I to received a call from the #of 202-657-4595 and they told me that my name was picked to receive free money from the government grant (9,200) and all I need to is to go and get a Green Dot money back voluture and put on the card 149.00 and to call them back and give them the # on the card then the'll put my 9,200 money on that card that I suppose to buy....Now I pause for a min and said this call don't sound right...'' The DEVIL is a Lie''!! If this suppose to be FREE money and I don't have to pay it back...why in hell do I have to come out my pocket just to get my free money. I told them they ANIT getting nothing from me in Jesus name! So yes people they are a scam and I'm praying that God will stop them!
