I had the same call i told them they are rober scammer

Just got the same call today. I decided to google the person name and I found this website. This is scary and so dishonest that people feel its ok to scam others then go and do honest work. Thanks for this website!!!

So How can we get our money back

All these are scams. The numbers are fake, usually Magic Jack or Skype numbers. These guys pray on the ignorance and greed of Americans that want easy or fast money for nothing. They work out of Nigeria, Jamaica, India, Russia....etc. Use common sense and good judgement, if it sound too good to be true IT IS!!.

Never give personal or bank information to an unsolicited caller. NEVER wire money to anyone you don't know personally. Don't be a VICTIM!!! Verify the company, verify their contact information. GOOGLE is a great resource, USE IT.

You may report it to local police, but there is nothing they can do locally either. Better to report to NW3C.gov, maintain database of these complaints to track the origin of these scams. However, even at a state or government level, very unlikely these scams will be stopped.

Only you can stop becoming a victim by using COMMON SENSE!!!

I got a phone call saying the same thing $9,000 grant that I don't have to pay back. She asked how i would likr to receive my $ (debit,credit,visa or $) i chose cash to avoid handing out my credit card info.They congratulated me and directed me to speak with Frankie Campbell I did not give them any information besides the one they already seemed to have which was my #, address, Name and they asked my age. They called from several #s such as (202)738-1853 (202)674-1246 & (202)907-8572. I was told to hold and we were "disconnected " I called back and would get an  answering machine or that the # is unavailable. Scam?  I believe so, although at no point did they ask for a credit card #.

I got the same call today.  Could not understand the woman who called- she had a strong accent.  Very shaky operation.  I knew it was a scam. She said I have a government grant coming in the amount of $7,000.   I feel bad for those who fall for this crap.  She made it sound pretty legit until she begs you to call her supervisor Frankie Campbell, then keeps calling you back to make sure you call him.  Idiots.

lol not because of this terrible scam but because these guys are idiots and and when you call them back just tell them you are at the western union and are going to give the money to the clerk. then ask the clerk to call the manager, this so called frankie will freak out and start to curse you out. this will let you know its a scam. i have been calling them back from my phone and telling them that i have the ny pd and interpol just in case its international. they freak out. so far i have managed to get two phones to shut down. please inundate these people and tell them this, it will stop the calls and maybe interpol should get involved. as long as you dont give them any info meaning they will tell you to call before you enter the western union store and will guide you, along, just tell them that you are already there and are going to give the money to them and that you need a manager and hear the sparks fly. as long as you dont give financial info you can mess with them as i am. hope this helps.

this is a scam n its da same person from the 859 number.. dont listen to them bithches

got a call from this number 859-472-2043 then gave me the 202-657-5176 to call. when i called the Frankie guy just kept talking about this money he wanted me to pay $260. That it would be refunded after about 15 minutes. Then he got a phone call from the US Bank, i then hung up. He called me back from a number in 865-6696 and when i questioned him about this so called money he started cursing me out. Now he keeps calling from this 865 number.  SCAM DONT BELIEVE IT..................................

I got this call today from some girl who told me to call the 202 #. I was smart enough to go to the internet and find out about this but 202 is a washington phone number which will make some think that this call is real. About 3 yrs ago I fed into a job scam that almost cost me my whole life and 10 yrs behind bars. Ever since then I do all I can to catch these people. If there is someone higher up I can go to please let me know. These calls must be able to be traced. I was a victim but the law dont see it that way. Dont get fooled like I did please.

I got a call today and the guy told me to call the 202-657-5176# to speak with my representative, Frankie Campbell. He claimed I was selected to claim government grant money, $7000. The FTC website warned about scams like this so I nicely expressed my concern that the website was not a government site or even a secure site. As he explained, the long story short- he wanted me to pay $250 at the Western Union and then pick up my money that would include a refund of the $250. I never got rude or even raised my voice with him. I was trying to quickly read more and figure out what he may be up to when he started yelling at me, "What web site? What the H*ll are you doing?" I said I don't think a real government person would be so rude as to curse. Then he says, "B*tch I will f*ck your p*ssy!" Then he hung up!

This guy called from an unknown number and told me to call his manager Franky Camvill at this number. I had recieved a grant. I did not call the number because I suspected it to be fake of course. Obviously it is.  I wonder if we call the cops

Had seed he was with the United states Grants department and then began to verbally assalt me on the phone when i saked what company he worked with.
If anyone can help find a way to find this guy and stop him id be really greatfull thanks
