DO NOT IGNORE THIS NUMBER. Chances are good, if you are receiving calls from this number, you may have received calls from these numbers: 530-559-1957, 215-383-3419, 951-821-6843, 951-821-6872, 976-543-2320, 339-502-4300, 202-657-5855. They are all the same person calling from different numbers. He has a false payday loan site- you give out your SSN, banking info, etc. in hopes to get a payday loan- and then he proceeds to call you. First, it is to offer you an auto loan. Second, it is to check to see if you still ant a payday loan. Third, to see if you want a student loan. His last ditch effort is to call you, claiming he is from a law office or a state attorney general's office, demanding that you or your lawyer contact him. With me, this message was accompanied by my FULL social security number. When I called him back to let him have it, he proceeded to read me off my full bank account number, state ID, etc. I immediately put a freeze on all accounts, changed banks, and put a fraud alert on my CBRs. Saturday, I plan on filing a police report for harassment and identity theft. DO NOT LET THIS GO- THIS MAN WILL STEAL FROM YOU.

ITS A SCAM!!!! First they called from 0000000000. A man said I won $8,300 in grant money because I was chosen by Washington D.C. for paying my bills on time and had no criminal record. He said they chose 1,700 students total. Asked for a $250 deposit at the local Western Union and gave me a code: 1009. He gave me the name Filix Bill and his "account manager's" number, 202-657-5855. I called - the SAME man picked up. He said his name was John Paul. I googled the number. ITS A FRAUD. They have been scamming for money from people from all over. I called the local police department and they told me that they are over seas. The number comes in as 0000000000 because they scramble it. They have reportedly threatened to send hit men after a woman who do not send more money after already sending $12,000 and other people have recored vulgar language used by them.

Sorry, just some clarification here...it doesn't matter which kind of cash offer the scammer uses, whether it is a lottery prize, loan or a grant-the result is the same-you get robbed, while he gets rich on your money.

Lana, I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but you've been scammed. The ?loan officer? never had money to lend you, he was using an imaginary loan as bait to fool you into sending him your money and details. He will demand payment from you for one excuse after another and never send you the money you wanted to borrow. He asked you to send it by Ukash because once he receives it, it is untraceable and you can't get a refund. This is known as the Nigerian 419 loan scam.
Because he asked you for your details, he can steal your identity, so you will have to inform the authorities, the credit reporting agencies, your bank and credit card companies.

Now they say I need to send another $450.00 for IRS purpose. Tomorrow I need to respond to this call. I sent the money Western Union each time. Now I need to respond to this last call. They said I would get my money back and I would get $9,000 Western Union. I have peoples names. I want to now is this legit? Please respond ASAP . When I call them they say grant department.
