missed a call on my cell from 2026587889.  they did not leave a voicemail.  i have no idea who it is.

12/7/2009 - I missed a call on my cell phone yesterday from 2026587889 - they didn't leave a voicemail...I have no idea who they are either.  Some telemarketer?

Didn't recognize the number.  Don't know anybody from the 202 area code.

Whomever this is was shouldn't be calling cellular telephone numbers that are also on the national 'Do Not Call' registry anyway.

If I knew who to file a complaint with, I'd turn them in.

I received a call on my cell phone with no voicemail from this number.  I called it using my work phone and it brought me to an automated recording for a website called "Hey Cosmo".  I looked up the site and it appears to be a pranking/mass text messaging type of site.  There is a feature to "block" calls.  I took my chances and entered my number.  While waiting online, it called me back with an automated option to continue to put my # on the do not call list.  Then I received several random soliciting text messages, at whick I replied "stop" to all of them, with a text confirming I "opted out."  Hopefully this will put an end to it - but no clue how I got on such list.

Same thing, call on my cell, no voicemail.

call had commercials but no human voice

Received call Sunday morning at 10:18. Washington, DC NPA.  No message.  Did not answer it.  No one from govt. would be at work on a Sunday...

12/14/09 Hang up on my cell, no voicemail.

Got same 2-ring hangup call as all others.  Called it back and got the automated "Cosmo" pitch, which I hung up on.  

Could this automated call also trigger other calls to the numbers on your cell phone?  Oddly, later that night I got a crank call to my home phone land line supposedly "automatically generated from XXXX number" the number sounding like my cell phone number.  The automatic message following was a crank call, electronically generated saying "I'm going back to my wife, sorry".

Did anyone else get other calls same day that might have been numbers picked up off the cell?

Just got one myself, isn't there a way to report this? Oddly enough, a call just after landed in someone else voicemail box....yeah, wtf? I'm on ATT. The voicemail seems fine now though...?????

I got a call from them too. Called back from another phone. The recording said they were from "Hey Cosmo" or something like that. They definitely should be reported

Called whwn I was away ,hung up ,left no messages.I think it is collection agency called Recovery ,they have multiple numbers in many states .They claim erroneous debts payments.I called bank they claimed I owed to.Bank made a a search and claimed account was inexistent .they are con artist involved in many games.Best thing is to            ignore and complain to do not call list

Got call in Calif time zone at 4:30 p.m. Same story as everyone  else.

I received a call from this number today at 8:09am, the phone was right next to me but I didn't hear it ring.  No message left.

Just received call from this #.  9:14am EST, one ring then hung up.

Received several calls from this #.  No messages

they called me, there was a beeping noise, then they hung up. i found that the number came from the D.C. area, but I live in California so i think its some sort of solicitor/scam even though I have my number on the "no-call" list.

Called my cell and hung up at 6:41pm pst.

I just received a call, on my cell phone, from this number.  My phone only rang twice.  I looked at the caller ID and mistook the area code for a New York area code and called it back, since I have family in New York.  Recording comes on stating something about Hey Cosmo and please hold while we retrieve your information.  I immediately hung up.  I am registered on the National Do Not Call List and have filed a complaint.  If anyone is interested, their website is https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx.  You can register and file complaints there.  Telemarketers should not call your number once you have been on the registry for 31 days but you don't have to be registered to file a complaint if you received a call that uses a recorded message.

Got a call from these guys this morning around 10:20. Same story as everyone else: I'm on the do not call list; missed the call; they left no message. I'm in the military so I figured it may have something to do with that, but they would have left a message. If it is advertisers I do think something should be done being my number isn't available to the public.
