Yet another scammer calling my cell phone. If ppl weren't dumb enough to fall for this crap they would stop calling!!!

I've received 6 phone calls in 30 mins from an unknown, 2026662441 and 000-000-0000. All the same guy named George. I proceeded to tell him that I'm not interested and hung up. He called me again as the phone calls continued I began to get angrier by the moment. Needless to say his feelings were hurt when I was finished with him and told him I would report him to the police. he called again after and got the same attitude again he hasn't called since and that was about 3 hrs ago now. I am beyond annoyed I even added my name to the do not call list and that hasn't done anything either. Everyone beware they are scammers and trying to steal identities.

Have recived numerous calls from this number . Whe I was told I recieved a grant for $8,400 these people are idiots truly feel sorry for aanyone they scam .

Calling numerous times for a few weeks now, poor Englisk, scam about Government grant. Government never calls you on your cell phone!

It's most likely that they are calling through a computer system which will usually show up as unknown but if not it is randomly generated number

I got a call from (202) 666 - 2441 saying that I won money for serving in Desert Storm, and that the Government was giving me $8400. Nice.... when they wanted my bank account i told her "the government has my account number". Then she wanted to western union me the money. I told her that the government does not send money western union, then I hung up. This was several weeks ago. last night I got a call, and I recognized the number. She started to tell me what I won and I asked her if she wanted the western union number. She hung up. She tried to call again on my lunch break. Next time I will ask her to make sweet sweet love. Not only is that hilarious, but should get her to stop calling me. Peopl listen- if the government wants your account number, THEY will get it, they will NEVER ask you for it. If they ask for your social it is only your last 4. THEY DO NOT WESTERN UNION money to ANYBODY. The Government has all your information. If you turn this around on them, they will stop calling, and you will have a good chuckle.

They just called me and said they were from the government and my name was selected to receive 8,000.00 because I paid my taxes on time and had no criminal record. They then wanted either a VISA, MasterCard, AMEX card or my bank account number so they could release the money to me within the next 48 hours.

I got a call from this number saying that I got a government grant for $8,400 and that they needed a bank account number and the information to go along with it. I hung up and searched on many different sites the number and many of them confirmed that it was a reported scam. Don't answer the phone for any reason. The woman said her name was Angela and she had a thick accent from another country. It was hard to tell what kind of accent she had though.

Just received a call from phone number 202-666-2441. He called me by name and said it was blah, blah blah calling from the US government. (very thick foreign accent) I said I could not understand him. He says, 'F*** YOU, I BET YOU UNDERSTOOD THAT HUH?'  I cussed him back and he called me very filthy female names and I hung up! He needs shut down. How he got my number I'll never know!

As soon as I told him I wanted the money mailed, and I was not giving him my checking account number or credit card he hung up.  very rude and then they try again I wish I new how to block on my cell phone.

So these people kept calling my phone.. No answer, I tried calling back and would get busy signal.. or a fake "lines are busy" Maybe with the NSA watching stuff over the phones they will pick up on a few keywords I used.. It seems that after saying blow things up with bombs they immediately ended the call...

Stop calling me. I have no business with you at all. Ten calls a day is to much

we keep getiing these calls form 202-666-2441 on our cell.finally I told my husband to answer it while ago since we have free weekend minutes.they would not say anything so I blocked their # on his cell.

I just received a call from them. I said ,"Hello?" 4 times before a guy finally said, "This is the United States government draft. May I speak to Megan?"...I hung up. I knew better than that.

I have received a call from 202-666-2441. Some women was on the line and then when I ask her to repeat what she was saying she told me she would call back.They  are using numbers of  different area codes

I am sick of the calls from this  202-666-2441: They want say anything and you return the call you can't get back with them!

I wish we could report them to BBB but it's not a business it's a couple people trying many different scams

Claimed to be from the US Treasury and could not seem to say my name correctly...Yes they knew my name! I had my doubts as to what this call was about and when he finally got his question out about who he wanted to talk to, I asked him what he wanted and then he hung up. Really??? What good does this do? Morons.

RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER CLAIMING THEY WANTED MY BANK ACCOUNT INFO TO SEND ME $8500. I TOLD HIM TO SEND ME A CHECK AND HE WOULD NOT AND WAS TELLING ME I WAS VERY RUDE. I STATED TO HIM IF THIS WAS A REAL CALL HE COULD SEND ME A CHECK IN THE MAIL AND THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME.

I have gotten calls from this number repeatedly over the past few days. If I don't answer they don't leave a message. If I do answer they just hang up. I don't understand what they are trying to accomplish this way. Is their only purpose for calling just to annoy people? They have been added to my phone's blocked number list. Thank goodness for that!

This number called me saying I received a grant from the government, however I have never been notified of this before. They somehow know my name and address. To get the money they asked for a credit card number which was a big RED FLAG. I said i did not have one and they hung up. There was lots of noise in the background and the woman was not a native english speaker.

I got several calls within a day. They told me I will receive government grant $8400 that I didn't apply for being no criminal records and bad credit card report among US citizens. And asked me how I want this money and my credit card #! Very dangerous.

Please STOP calling my number!!! You are pissing me off!!!!

Keep calling, I call back "Number not in service" Fortunately, I get the number but use  a program called Mr. Number and it picks up the call and hangs it up immediately. Love it!!!!

Ok, here's what you need to do (in this order)

File a police report.
File a report with : http://www.grants.gov/web/grants/support/general-support/grant-fraud.html

Go to your bank and tell them what happened.If you used you checking account number, close the account and open a new one. If debit card, ask your bank to issue a new bank card. Stop payment if you gave a check number, dispute charges if a card, and ask for reversal of charges.

Place a flag on your social security number with Experian,TransUnions,and Equifax. This will prevent new lines of credit being taken out in your name without verification that you are the one applying.

Keep a close watch on your credit report.
