This number keeps showing up on my computer company phone.  When trying to call back nothing.  I just let it go to voicemail but they never leave a message.  How do you block these calls?

Block the number and area code that's what I did.

I just received a call August 8, 2013 at 3:33PM. From a guy who can barely speak English telling me he is from the government and I have been awarded an $8,000 grant that can only be used in good faith. That if I don't feel comfortable giving him my bank account information I can give him my credit card information so they can deposit the money into my account. I laughed at him and told him that wouldn't be happening and that I do not want his so called "money". He then hung up on me.

I get 3-4 calls a day and only sometimes does someone say anything.  The most I've gotten out of them is that they are from the U.S. Treasury.  I knew it was bogus the minute they said that. Everyone has been extremely hard to understand.   I asked them what they wanted and they hung up.

I also informed him or government doesn't employ people to work for them personally that can't speak English right.theses people are persistent and irritating.only thing is they didn't ask me for personal information.

Got a call from 202-666-3304 saying i won $8400 from the united states government.not the first time i got that call. After i informed this bad English speaking person that i knee it was a scam he got very defensive,i hung up, he called back.i then told him or government doesn't call people to inform them of such a thing and that i work for the government, he started yelling and i hung up.he called back yet again screaming"what party of the government you work for" repeatedly and them screamed "DO YOU KNOW WHO THIS IS, DO YOU KNOW WHO  THIS IS, DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!!!" And i replied a scammer and a bi***. I have reputed them before to the united states government,i suggest you do the same.

Got a call from this number this morning. The caller said I was one of a few 15,000 randomly selected to receive a grant. He had my name and address and said he was with the US grant department in DC. After further explanation of the grant of 8000-something, he then asked for my credit card info from any debit or pre paid card. I was very sketchy and uncomfortable with giving this info but I thought what could hurt if I bought a pre paid card and have him call me back tomorrow? Its safe and I think its worth a shot, worst case scenario I'm out $25 for buying the pre paid card.

The caller was male with an Indian/middle Eastern accent and said his name was "kevin parker", which raised a red flag. Though the offer is too enticing to reject without safely trying.

They called me twice yesterday and again today and I decided to answer just to see what scam they're trying to sell. Sure enough, I, too, was told I got a grant for $8400. I told her to send me some paperwork because there are too many scams out there and she hung up. I can't stand it.

I've been getting tons of calls from these guys, I've answered only twice, but realizing I didn't know who it was, hung up on them both times...they continue to call me so I just ignore it. I finally told my dad that this number keeps calling me and I don't know who it was (I am not an adult, that's all I'm gonna say) and he tried calling them and got the same responses as you all did. "Go F**k yourself" "Why shouldn't I call you..."
"Then F**king don't pick up the f**king phone b*tch". I just blocked them so hopefully I don't get anymore scam calls. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. ANY 202 AREA CODE NUMBER IS A SCAM NUMBER. DO NOT CALL, DO NOT ANSWER.

They call me every day.   They do not leave a messege.  When i try to call back it says all lines are busy.  They use curse words at me and say weird off the wall things.

I had a missed call when I got off from work and the number was 202-666-3304 and they did not leave a voice message. I was curious and I wanted to know who was calling me so I called back the number. I had to call the number at least three different times because the phone would not ring. That was odd so a Indian women answered the phone and she stated that she worked for the government and that I was selected to receive $8,400 in a grant funds. This was odd so I said uh huh sure and what kinda information that I have to give you. She said that I would have to give my credit card or bank account information. That didn't sound right so I asked her if she could send me some information in the mail or by email regarding the organization that she works for. Finally, she gets frustrated at me and hangs up. I simply said um huh.

please investigate this number,. I receive up to 10 calls a day. bordering on harassment

Keeps calling and will not stop! Hangs up and continues to call again!

they called me with the same story but I had already read this thread. I told him he was full of shi* to which he replied *uck you mother*ucker a**hole and hung up...hahaha

He called looking for someone who had signed up for a bunch of shady tech schools using my number instead of his. When I told them they had the wrong number, he INSISTED that he had the right number, and that I was just the wrong person holding the phone.  When I asked for a manager, he insisted he didn't have one.

I'm so glad I googled  scam info for the no 202-666-3304 and across this site. I got a call too today from the same number. A lady with a really strange (read: dodgy) accent informed me that I had been selected for a government grant of $8000 for being a prompt tax paying citizen over the last six months. But to get the money, I  would need to give them my credit card, or bank account information. I decided to play along, and told her that I don't have a credit card and don't believe in giving my account information out on the phone. She wasn't pleased, and said, "well, then that's up to you." And the line went dead. Yaay, good riddance to crazy people.

I started getting this phone calls from this number, I haven't answer yet. I'm looking for work, so I kind of suspect from submitted many resumes online. From what others say here, just don't answer this call.

You would probably have to fly to India, Pakistan or Africa to find them.  Despite the 202 area code on caller ID the calls are not originating in the US.

Keep calling 3-4x a day. Do not want this call, do not answer.

I asked them to please take me off there call list and they told me that they "want to kill me and f*** me once"....uhhhh no thanks!

The Indian man who called me from this number was very rude and kept trying to convince me he was legit.  I told him I wasn't born yesterday.  I said any info he had for me he could mail.  He asked for my e-mail and I refused. He asked for my street address and I told him that if he was legit, he would know it.  The I told the man I was on the Do Not Call list and he had the nerve to say "Then why did you answer your phone?"!   I told him he was a jerk and hung up.  He then tried calling me back.  I also get calls from 202-202-1234.  Might be same group.  Too bad that there are people who believe them and give them their personal info.
