They scammed me out of 240.00  they promised 84000. the bank they gave me wanted almost 500.00 more.

I have got several calls from this number put I didn't answer since I wasn't sure who it was and good thing I didn't now I know is a scam

Its funny because the tell me the same story to me 3/12/14 this people they don't have nothing to do I am lucky I call my cuzin the I service to the army and he always in the Internet loking for anything and I commented what they tell me and he tell me cuzin be careful that fraud don't duets so I didn't so went the Indian gay call me back I tell him o I think this is fraud and I get mad a litter be and he said this is not fraud man are u want the money yes or no and I said yes but this is sound like  I do not o and I also tel him I ask my cuzin the he work for the usa army and he said o u do not have to tell anyone so I found this conversation so wear so thank to my cuz and god I didn't did nothing wrong so I also search the numbers and I find a lot of coment whit the same numbers

I received 6 calls today from this number. Tried calling back and the line is busy. After reading the above comments it's definitely scam and I am blocking these numbers.

The man that called me was creepy said he wanted to Fu*#  me and hurt me. Said he didn't have a Supervisor he was his own boss. Told me f*** off because I told him he was disgusting.

I told him to lose my number and he said the same thing.  I get 3 to 4 calls a day.

I asked him to "lose my number" and he said "NO, I am going to keep calling you and bugging you.  I said go ahead, I just won't answer.  I get about 3 or 4 calls a day.

I had a missed call from 202-666-5005 at 4pm today, 03/11/2014.  They did not leave a message.  I do not call numbers I am not familiar with so I googled the number and that led me to all of your posts.  It was as I had suspected, a scam.  Thank you for our postings.

Stupid.  They'd get your account number.  These people are scammers and phone terrorists working out of India and Pakistan.

In any case they'd never accept a check.  They want account numbers.and other financial information.

The number (202) 666-5005 has called me four times today. The first two I answered and no one said anything and then the call was hung up. The last two times I just let it go to voice mail. The caller did not leave a message.

Please stop calling me.

Foreigner will not answer question

I started getting calls after applying for jobs i tried To always click not interested.In further education. I recieved calls and when i said i wasnt interested as i have a masters degree. They kept to script and kept pushing...i also asked to be taken off the list and i kept getting calls. This is one number. I also got some from 423 area code and it may be they were mimicking my area code on my cell

I have received a missed call from this number. The third call I answered I heard a man's voice and then he hung up. Next time he calls I am going to blast my radio in to the phone. Wish i had a whistle!!!

Heavy Indian accent identified himself as Andrew with the US Dept of Treasury & that I had been randomly selected to receive $8,000.  I asked for his phone number so that I could call him back & then his last name (return number he gave me was 202-380-3944; Stantfield was the last name he gave!)  I then asked him to take me off of his list & hung up.  He then called me right back & yelled "F**K you, ma'am; F**K you" & hung up.  He has called me 3 more times throughout the day (calling my cell number).  I have blocked this number with Sprint, re-registered with the DNC list, filed a complaint with the FTC & s/w the FCC.  The FCC also recommended contacting my State Attorney General.
***FCC says that the DNC list doesn't apply to cell phones & that it is against the law for telemarketers to call cell phones for that purpose.

we got a call from this number stating we have been chosen at random by the US Government department of grants to receive an $8400 grant. my daughter immediately got on the internet and started googling what they were saying to me and found out that it was in fact a huge scam. my daughter told me that if they ask for a processing fee that it was not legit and to ask them why they just can't take this "processing fee" out of the money they were going to give me. they had no response to that.

OMG! This guy just called me as well!! He sounded Indian, asked for my bank account and routing number. Said the US Govt wanted to give me 8000 dollars to pay bills. I hung up on him, he called back and I didn't answer. WTF??! Cant believe these scumbags exist!

I got called today about 345pm and was told I was awarded the grant money and I didn't believe them at all . I kept asking to be oftenly repeated words

They call asking me for bank account information to give me money for grant for school.
I thought it was to good to be true and ask why not send a check they said no so I said I'm report them for fraud and he said I'm report you to (rude)

I have been getting several calls a day from this number.202-666-5005 I have spoken to them once and got called a bi*** by someone of Indian Descent ....when I told them that there was no way I qualified for something I did not sign up for and hell no they could not have my bank card information. I mean really get a damned job people.

People saying nasty words about me

that same guy called me as a Asian person: this is what happened: this number has called me four or more times today even when I have already stated take me off you list.... this time they called for my husband.. and my husband doesn't even have his ged yet. The Asian guy told me F*** You.. and then went in to describtions about what kind of things he was going to do by his statement and then of course I said it back to him and asked him for the third time to lose my number and asked to speak to a supervisor and the guy said hold and then came back trying to play the supervisor..

Called multiple times telling me I won a government grant.  Complete scam want you to purchase a green dot card from walmart and then deposit money on the card and call back for them to send the money to the card

Keeps calling my cell phone. I don't recognize the number, I don't answer it. However, they keep calling back. Annoying!!!

I just received a call from a woman who said my name was chosen as I always paid my taxes, etc, etc, etc.  The US Government wanted to give me a refund of $8500 to my checking account of debit card account.  Woman got upset and hung up when I told her I was taking the number and reporting it to the local police.  

I cant believe that these people are doing this ,I understand economy is what it is, but trust me all you good people this is a scam "BIG TIME" first of all if you did in fact get a grant from the government you would be notified BY MAIL not by some Indian with broken English. What they do is ask for your bank routing number and promise a wire transfer in 45 minutes but what they do is empty your account after asking you for a 148.00 processing fee,Now please why would the government ask for a processing fee it makes NO sense if a 202 number calls you telling you you have a grant coming tell them NICE TRY !!!!! and hang up ITS A SCAM .  

Bogus call

I have gotten 2 calls so far from this number, they listen to me say hello a few times and then hang up.
I am blocking the number.

I haven't had the pleasure to speak this a***ole. Excuse my French. he's called me 4 days in a row.Once-daily at different times.today he's called me twice. I tried to call back but I can never get through.not sure about a scam but it is frightening! Is it possible he's planting something else in our phones, some kind of a virus? I've tried to tweak my smartphone, tried to block it. I've tried other settings.I believe he's using personal computer not a phone to do all this! Whomever is really getting to be a pain in the a**!
