I just received a called from this number.  Someone with a thick non American accident asked for me by name. I answered "yes, this is a English speaking house hold" and they hung up :)

I got the same call, but didn't answer it.  
Forgot all about what i  had WANTED to do to the next telemarketer/scam artist that called.

Hope I remember for the next one.

I have been receiving calls from them as well and finally answered with the exact same results.  I told them to remove me from their calling list but yet they keep calling.  I have reported them to the US Gov. Do not call list site.  I would suggest that everyone else do the same thing.  It is crazy that they can get your cell # and then run up your minutes with this none sense.  It is a huge scam and if you are reading this DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION AND DO NOT EVEN ACCEPT THE CALL!

What is this world coming to? Why people like this just crawl under a rock and mingle with themselves.

They say that you can have an $8,400.00 grant for anything. Then they said they are going after low income and seniors..Also they area a scam they want your money! Just Hang up and report it to the FBI!

I got A call from this number and it is a scam, scam, scam, I told them i was going to call the cops and report this number, The The guy started curssing me out and threatning me, to all that recieve this call do not pick up or give out your info

here's a  few  other  numbers  posted  from  the   same  area  code  offering a  wide  variety  of  scams  /  fake  emails and  scams  after  posting  something  on   craigslist   (  old  scam  )  ...... collecting  for  non  existant  "  payday  loans "....free  money / scam  giveaways /  calling  on  behalf  of  a  humane  society..... $1,000's  in  free  gov't  money.........  etc  etc.....stories  change  out  all the  time......and  the  usual  nonsense!!!

**   mysteriously  call to  claim  they  have  several  thousand  of  dollars  to  send  you....just  provide  your  bank  account and  credit  card   right  away   etc etc.........scam scam

several  of  these are  the  usual   long  ongoing  scams   such  as  :  you  have  won a  free  walmart /  bestbuy  gift  card....or  you  have  won a  free  ipad  etc......all  long  ongoing  scams

I am getting daily calls from this number.
They at first would not say anything but today a man with broken english answered. I told him to stop calling and he said F you. He kept cussing until I handed the phone to my boyfriend.

Just received a call from this number for the fourth time requesting my imfo. Tired of the calls. Do not answer this number it is so much a scam.

They are collecting your phone number and you will be bombarded with colleges calling you trying to get to spend the free grant money I just wish I knew how to block it.

annoying...called me 6 times today...no one is ever on the line.

Today this number has called my house phone 5 times and left no massage.

i have received calls from this number many, many times - each time I try to call it back the line is busy - they do not leave messages -

Called MANY time during work day, haven't been able to answer. No messages. When I called back says it's not in service.

they called me and he spoke broken English. I said I could not understand him and then he cursed at me and of course i cursed right back at him then i hung up and he called back still cursing at me so i told him I'm gonna report him then i blocked him but they don't stay blocked. they called about 4 times and I'm sick of it

I got this same call. They have been calling for days and don't leave a message. Finally I picked up and a guy with a strong accent answered. I couldn't understand half of what he was saying, but he made sure I could understand that I was hand selected by the government to receive $8,400 in grant money for free. then when I asked how much the fee was he said well after we verify your account and all you will be transferred to my accounting manager who will go over all that with you. I said no I don't feel comfortable doing that until I know what the fee's are. he proceed to repeat the message about what I am receiving and etc. after a couple mins. and persistence on finding out what the fees would be. he finally said hold on and I will find out. put me on hold for a min. and then another person got on. but as I was listening there was the exact same loud noise in the background (like a whole bunch of other people on the phone, which could have been a recording) and his voice sounded the same except he was talking slower and a little more clearer. then he continued to tell me that there would be a fee of $240 dollars. Since when does the government give grants out AND charge a $240 fee?? Never heard of that. I even said this isn't right because I am in college and I have NEVER had to pay a fee for a grant or loan towards it!!! He then said "ok well good for you. I guess you aren't interested. goodbye."

Also, when they were trying to verify my name and where I was located they had the town correct but the zip code was an old one of mine!!! It didn't match the town I currently live in!

What dumb people!!! This is totally a scam!

Leaving this message here will not stop the calls. I know the calls are frustrating, but this is a database of phone numbers, not the people who are calling your phone.

Now, for the rest of it. In order to qualify for a government grant, you must have first applied for one. You will not be asked to pay any money for one, and the government does not contact you to offer one. Thi s is a scam.

these ppl keep blowin up my phone they call me at least 4times a day im glad I looked up the number cuz I just keep forwarding the call ive answerd one time but they didn't say anything just hung up on me

I am so sick of this number calling me strong male accent. Can't call it back and when I did answer it asking for my old married name he laughed and said the maintenance man.  I get a least 2 calls a day from this number. Where are these people getting information on us!!! This needs to stop it is so un-american!!!!
