Called as the US treasury Dept offering me a government Grant of $8400 that all i neede was a green dot card to upload the money. I did not give any info. and she said she would call me again once i got a green dot card. Nothing is free in life!

I wont put my name on this post as this person or persons can look on this site and gather more info about any of us.

Three calls today,  say they are from the Federal Goverment, can hardly understand them, how can I stop them?

I also received a call from this number, but did not answer after reading your review.  Looks like a total scam operation.  Too bad we cannot do anything about these kind of calls.

I just rec'd a call from this number and decided to answer, showed call coming in from Washington DC. The guy tells me he is calling from the US Treasury Dept. This was after I had to ask him twice where he was calling from because his English was so poor. I left him continue to explain to me how I was one of 1500 people selected to rec a 1 time benefit of $8000.00 because I pay my bills on time and have no debt, well I was gonna shut him down then because that's a joke and a half right there. I decided to let him go on. He said I could rec my funds using any plastic card like a Wal-Mart card or prepaid visa, mc etc. Yup any PLASTIC Card or I could have it transferred to my savings or checking. After I would choose which method he would then transfer me to another person to complete this transfer. My guess is if a had picked the any plastic card option the call would have ended or they would have tried to tell me they needed my ss# etc to send me a prepaid card (besides the fact that no gov agency of any kind is going to give you that kind of money let alone using a Wal-Mart gift card.  So when he said which method would you prefer I simply said do you think I'm stupid, I'm not buying this and DO NOT EVER CALL ME AGAIN!!!

Keeps calling and when I do not answer there is no lovoice message left.

I Pi$$ed one of them off and told him not to call this number as I'm on the "do not call list.' He insisted he would call again and then asked me what kind of birth control I used. I asked him if he was circumcised and he hung up!

They called me at work!!! And told me that they were a us gov grant serv/assoc, and that i had won a free gov grant. "once in a lifetime"  8400 dollars....yea.  I told them to hang on one time just to see how long they would wait....he wait for over an hour. LOL.

They call, then hang up when I answer.

This number calls me harresses me at least 5-8 times a day and when i call back it says this number has been deleted ugh!

Revived 3 calls today 2 yesterday. I answer no one says anything nd the phone hangs up. I call the number back, and all I get is a busy signal. Suspicious to say the least.

Mine sounded Chinese. I just got off the phone with him, just now... Told him I was Puff, the magic dragon, And that I'd look for the check in the mail... even he thought it was kind of  funny before he hung up on me

I received calls from this number three times already. I finally answered and he said, I was a awarded some kind of a grant from the federal govt. He then asked for bank account number for them to credit the money. He has a distinctive Indian accent. When I asked him, Is this call really come from United States? He hung up...

I answered the phone thinking it might be a head hunter about a job.... nope! so, he told me I won money or some legal fee, or grant, or something. Then asked me for a CC #... uhhhhhh.... Sorry, but that's not hows I roll... so I said "OK!" - I said "are you ready? It's 1234-5678-OU812" - He then asked who I was, so I told him "Jake... from State Farm" He then hung up. Hey.... If anything, at least I had a good time!

Said hello when I answered then hung up. When I call back the phone never rings, you only hear a bunch of clicks in the background

Caller stated I received a US grant. I could contact a council person and proceeded to ask for bank or credit card info. When I stated I was uncomfortable giving out that kind of information the caller terminated the call.
