I received a call from this number today.. he asked to speak to my husband.. when I politely asked him who was calling, he turned incredibly rude and condescending, speaking to me like I was a child, saying "let me ask you again.. is he there, OR ISN'T HE?" I said it depended on who he was.. he refused to tell me, and just said he'd call back in 30 minutes.  I called back, and a recording came on saying you've reached "the Fundraising Office" and to leave your name and number. Really? "Fundraising office"? lol, that's the best they can come up with? Beware of charities and fund raising calls that don't state a specific organization or charity name..  it just screams scam.

We constantly get calls from this number. I refuse to answer it after reading all the comments from other people. I wish I knew how to stop them from calling. It's so annoying. Sometimes multiple times daily. That shouldn't be allowed.

get calls from this number 3 times a day for the past 2-3 weeks. I don't answer any of them but it is very anoying

this guy was rude kept asking me if this was my name. then said he would call back at another time and hung up on me. Made it seem legit.  Looked it up on caller id and called the number which is unknown said it was a fund raising number and gave the man's name Michael Williams.  Its a scam.  Don't talk to them.

They have been calling daily for a week, when I asked them to take my number off their list, they only asked "Who is this
rather than agreeing. I asked multiple times but they would not agree. I am reporting them to the FCC and the Do Not Call registry.

We get daily calls from this number as well.  When I tried to return the call to see who it was, I got a recording that said it was out of service.  Just tried again and got a message saying to leave my number and "Bill" would call me back.  I have blocked them on Comcast Voice.  I suggest reporting the number on the Do Not Call website.

No Veteran's affiliated Foundation will call you to solicit money. Typically they perform in person fundraiser's dressed according to their official Veteran Affiliation Group. If someone calls you asking for money, it certainatly is not a Veteran's Group.

I think it's time now for an absolute no call list. I get charged and my time is taken up over these "nonsense "calls when I'm trying to sleep or sit down to eat.

They never get tired of calling.  I have had this number blocked on my phone for almost a year now and it still calls.  If I am on the other line, somehow Verizon let's my machine get it.  He coughed 3 times on the machine and hung up.  I'm going to start calling the number back on auto dial from my fax machine!!  Maybe 20 times a day?  Just kidding.  I can't be bothered.

ID says "Washington DC"  must be the president wanting my advise........lol

After reading these entries, Im glad I checked out the number through this forum. I havent answered the phone number either. The caller i.d. entry just says Washington d.c. and does not leave a message.

Got a "courtesy call" from this number, but the individual wouldn't identify themselves (they asked for a Mister wifes-last-name, and we have different names, so it's obviously someone who doesn't know us)

I keep receiving calls from 202-670-2476. When you pick up the phone at first you hear nothing. Then you hear multiple voices in the background. Like a call center. Still nobody answers when you say hello. I can't understand why these organizations are allowed to get away with this. At the very least they should be required to identify themselves on caller ID.
Anyway, why would anyone give money to an organization when they don't have enough common courtesy on the phone to speak?

I get calls from this number almost every day, and usually there's nobody on the other end.   I did answer the call one day, to ask him not to call back, and the guy got nasty with me.  He was soliciting donations for Veterans.  I told him I support  a couple veterans' organizations, especially Wounded Warriors, and he got even nastier...told me he couldn't believe I wouldn't support the veterans.  I told him I do, but can't afford to give to everybody.  I asked him to take my name off the list, but he had hung up on me before I was even done asking.  Rude, rude, rude...no way to get money from me.  I called the number and left messages for the "Fund raising office", asking to be off of their calling list, but got more calls after that.  I wish somebody could get this guy to stop calling two or three times a day.

Get calls several times a day from this number, no one ever says anything, then hang up. Irritating to say the least. Got a good mind to have the computer dial back that number ever 5 minutes!

Idiot calls my number. Asks for someone but can't pronounce the correct name. Doh! Asks me to tell the person he's looking for that "JT called, he knows who I am". I told him he was a fckn idiot and hung up.

They called us after 9 p.m. and we get up at 4 a.m. to work.  Really????  How does this happen when  one is registered on the no-call list??

I received an email about a house that is for lease in my area and it says that they are missionaries and they want to rent the house to me for 1-5 years.  This number is a Google Subscriber202-670-4318. they include an application for the rental of the home.  The funny part is that I gave them my phone number but they did not called me but email me.

We have received 12 calls from these folks since Jul 30th. On both July 30th and 31st we received one call. Then we got a day of reprieve followed by one call each day on the 2nd and 3rd of August. A couple days respite followed by two calls on the 8th of August and another couple days of quiet. Then starting on the 12th, we have received one call each day from this company. I've only picked up the phone twice...Once they asked for my husband after saying which company they are from (Vietnam Veterans Fund) and when told that he was unavailable and asking if I could take a message, they then said "No, we'll call back later when he's home." The other time the person asked if it was allright if they went ahead and sent the envelope and could count on us for our support...quite the bullies. I told them NO, don't send anything to us. We don't mind supporting our vets, but we are on a DO NOT CALL list for a reason...we don't want people calling us. If we feel so inclined to support whomever, we will do so in person.

When I called back this number it says to leave a message for Mike Aroyan. Hmmmmmmm.

they called me today and asked for me by name, i asked them, who's calling? the guy snapped  back, Ok Mrs. ____( my name) I said excuse me, i did not say was Mrs. ____. The guy quickly said" ok we will call back when mrs__ is there and hung up before i could do a thing. anyone know how to block this number?

Many calls per day from this phone number. They engage my answering machine, but never leave a message.

they call all the time, but every phone in the house has caller id, if the phone call is that important, they can leave a message and 99% of the time they don't.

this number calls all the time, when i answer it says goodbye, this is very annoying for a family that has health problems. to be trying to get the phone.
