call comes inand when you answer there is no response.

they call and call but when you answer they hang up or dont say anything...

I answer and no one spoke to me. So I hang up. I pick up because I thought that it was my family calling me and I pick up but that was the second time they called me.

I picked up to tell them to take me off the call list. All I got was a recording telling me to call back for my free grant. Incidentally, I recently purchased a Jet Scream whistle to keep beside the phone.

I didn't answer, they left me some message about grants. Its a scam.

How did they even get my cell phone number?? And I find it offensive they are trying to get me to apply for "grant" money so I can get out of debt. I'm not even in debt. I just let the call go to voice mail. It's annoying.

The above mentioned number called me as well a few minutes back. I believe for non register residents, you should look with your phone compnay to address why these unknown callers are still locating ones number. As a private listing number, you are entitle to take action and address this unlawful issue with your phone company.

I'm on the do not call list and keep complaining about all these calls I'm recieving.  The govt is doing nothing to these telemarketers.  They called me twice in a row and left 2 voice mails.  Why be on the do not call list when these crooks get thru anyways??????

This is really starting to be bullsh!t.  These people have no life and are starting to really piss me off.  It's getting to where we are getting up to 10, count them 10, calls a day from different numbers that do the same DAMN thing. If you answer the phone, they don't respond to you, and if you let the answering machine pick up they just hang up.  If I could find the exact location they are calling from, I'd go there and kick their sorry little butts.  What is the point of wasting money to get the national DO NOT CALL list, we they do it any way?

Just received another call from this number.  This time I let my answereing machine pick up the call because the same phone number appeared on on my caller ID. The caller only said that it was an invalid response.  Can't anything be done to stop them other than not answering the phone.  This is quite annoying to me.  I don't want to call my phone company and pay a fee to have this number blocked, why should I pay to have these numbers blocked.  Help stop these call from coming through.

They called and when I answered the phone all they said was that was not a valid extension.  I don't know who it was, and I wish that they would stop call my house.  It is very anoying.

I keep getting these calls also its from a place called cash grant institute. I called them back and I get a recording that directs me to their website. requestagrant.com and wants me to fill out info so they call me back or email me back. sounds like bull$hit to me.I reported them to the do not call registry and so far have not gotten another call from them.

Received several calls over the past two months, but this time they left a message on my voicemail. The name shows up as Wash DC Call on my caller ID. I am on the Do Not Call registry so why is this company calling me? Sounds fishy to me.

IN Washington D.C. and are worldwide too have been selling peoples info to scam telemarketers and are recommended by the FTC/Dept. of Consumer Affairs to call and try to remove your name from telemarketers list that DMA sells to them. Very Shady partnership DIRECT MARKETING ASSOC. has with unscrupulous telemarketers and FTC/DCA , KEEPS scam telemarketers in business and gets business/recommendations from the FTC/DCA that they sold to in the first place.

The area code is from Washington D.C. area....something about grants from the government.  I wouldn't pick up the phone...just ignore them..they'll go away...they always do.

This number keeps calling at the oddest hours, I pick up I get a recording or no response at all. The caller id lists as ?Washington DC?.  I?m getting very annoyed with this number calling nonstop. As far as asking the company to stop calling I cannot get through to ask them to stop calling.I have filed a complaint with the national do not call regestry at https://www.donotcall.gov/
