Called 10-19-2012 @ 13:02, political calls are horrible this election cycle.

I have received 68 calls (from 12 numbers from D.C. area) ALL Roomney's political camp in the least 3 months and I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO of SICK IT . What moronic behavior!

Did not leave a msg.  Costs too much.  This is sixth call in past 30 days, from same number.  It is a shame that polsters call long distance to bother people who do not have money to give, or we would have long ago.
I screen the calls.  If I do not recognize the number, I reley on voice mail msg,  No msg, - NO call backs.

With the amount of unfounded and uncredible network trashing and loss of phone ID privileges by hackers your response is a 'pigs fly moment.'

Character counts; there is no 'other Romney badmouthing' outside of hackers who aspire for Bollywood when the current old folks are forced out.

Calling any number back 'logs your site into the pool.'

Come on!  If this was a Romney worker, would they be stupid enought to pull a stunt like this.  Maybe, but what better way to turn people against him than to do these kinds of things  as an opponent trying to make it look like Romney campaign did it.  From what we have seen from some of the dishonesty among the czars, i.e. not paying taxes, spending jail time, and various other deeds, they could have done it, but probably not.  Not saying either candidate is telling the truth at all times, or just not completely accurate due to human frailty, but both have made errors in their statements, as evidenced by the debates.  Neither would be supid enough to allow this kind of stupid stuff.  So blame someone else, and get real.  I have been spammed more than I like and am not surprised at anything any more.

I received a call from 202-695-8680 and didn't answer it. I've done it in the past and its junk. Tired of scam and political calls.

if these calls go to a state official or to a federal agency like the fbi, or cia or some undercover agency, I bet they are told to stop.

I don't care who's campaigning...if you're on a Do Not Call List... it's like an open invite to be called by candidates and that is just NOT right. I received a call from 1-202-695-8680 tonight. When I answered, I distinctly heard someone, who did not speak, on the other end of the line, fidgeting with a machine. I hung up and called right back. A recorded message said the number was disconnected. What a nuisance.

It is for Romney and These are the only calls that I welcome. If you are voting for Obama, you are the 47% of people that I am having to pay for your lazy a**. Get a clue people!

I donated to romney through their website, so no need for calls. Although I know for a fact this is a scam and not really part of their campaign. I agree with other poster, that it could be an ACORN type group, using romney's name to stir  up funds for obummer. Haha.  Vote early and often baby!

I totally agree with what your saying, about contributing to their campaign, but I hope that CERTAINLY does not mean that you disagree with what the Romney/Ryan campaign are saying, because if you are going to vote for OBAMA BIN LADEN, then you really are as stupid as we think. I also got a call from 202 695 8680. ID said Wireless Caller, but I didn't mind the call, Why, because I bought a Digitone Call Blocker. The first time they call, it rings my phone and the call comes through. I then block the number and the next time they call, my phone doesn't even ring and the blocker hangs up on them. You can even block entire area codes. I have it setup to block any incoming calls with the 855 area code. The blocker keeps track of all calls, good and bad ones. Then I like to check to see who got hung up on just for fun like I am now.

You need to buy one of these, you?ll like it.

262-695-8680 called my elderly mother saying they were with the Romney campaign asking for a donation of 100.00 or what ever she could give.  Thank God she can not see well and could not give a correct CC number.  I called the number back and got a recorded message for Urban Igloo.  I hung up, but then 1/2 hour later decided to call back to leave a message saying that she is on a DO NOT CALL LIST!, but it was disconnected!  I reported it to the local police, who discussed the importance of NOT giving information over the phone!    I THINK it is probably the ACORN group at it again raising money for Obama behind the Romney mask  - IT IS UGLY OUT THERE.
WE will fall just like ROME!!!

I called back and it is diconnected. If it is Romney like an earlier post said, he should be reported for calling. My number is on the do not call list-is he exempt because he's a puke, I mean, a politician? If I wasn't already pro Obama, I sure would be now because of the harrassing calls from his opponent!

my voice mail outgoing message seems to shut off these calls temporarily---it tells callers. "If you are a telemarketer or solicitor please hang up now as your call will not be answered"

how many hang ups will it take for these people to stop calling me?

Just received my first call from this area code 202 number although I have received upwards of at least 60 calls over the last month from the other 20-30 area code 202 scam  numbers being used.  I think I made the mistake of pressing 9 to be removed from their calling list (yeah, like that would really work but I was desperate/frustrated) on one the calls and that probably told the robo-dialer to increase the calls going to my number because it would  now be a known working number that will eventually be answered if enough calls are thrown at it.  

I did notice that the perpetual calls from Heather/Rachel giving me my never ending final notice to lower my credit card rates dropped off dramatically a few days before these area code 202 calls started.   So, I'm guessing, but have no proof,  that the same phone crooks attempting to scam you by falsely appearing to represent your credit card company and give you lower rates (provided you first give them your card numbers, etc.) are now attempting to scam you out of the same information by falsely claiming to represent Romney .  Nobody, including the Koch brothers, who truly wanted to help Romney would be running an idiotic phone campaign like this.    

Don't fall for the phone scam by giving out any personal information such as credit card information to the callers (even if they promise free bumper stickers, vacations, Ipads, or whatever else) and also please be skeptical of the resulting anti-Romney rants on these boards -- some of those rants are as ridiculous and irritating as the original phone calls and almost as if inspired by the fingers of Rachel Maddow herself.    And, who knows, if Romney were elected, maybe with his CEO experience and expertise he would appoint enough competent people to the FTC, FCC, DOJ, etc. that these fricking invasive phone calls would finally be stopped.

Called several times today, Saturday. They did not leave voicemail but when I did answer it was a male taped voice in Spanish. Click.

I am getting these messages and want them to cease and desist now! What good is the no call registry if these calls keep getting through to the people on that list?!
