hi i was called today lady talked me into getting a green dot card for 190.00 they're trying to tell me im gonna get 10,000 that i dont have to pay back now they want 640.00 for "western union fees" i asked if it was a western union fee why couldn't i just give the 640.00 to western union guy said oh no that's not the way it works!!!!!!!!! Im not falling for it BEWARE PEOPLE ,PEOPLE ARE SCAMING ANY CHANCE THEY GET I THINK THAT SHOULD BE PUNISHABLE BY DEATH  M FERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got the same call but I gave them a card number that doesn't work. So the jokes on them. It sounded like. A scam to bout 2mins into the call

I jus gotta call today and I was jus about to do it until I decided to look up the number...I kinda figured it was a scam..I even asked the lady was it a scam and she got very hostile

The man had a thick Middle Eastern accent and said the $10,000 would be sent to me because I paid my taxes, hadn't filed for bankruptcy and had no criminal background. He said me and 2,000 other citizens had been chosen. He, then, gave me a number to call with a verification number and made sure I had the correct number. After I called it, I didn't recieve an answer but I didn't call back. A lady, again with a thick Middle Eastern accent called me and said she had a missed call from me. Tf? Then she went on to say to recieve my money I needed to give her $163. She said the money was for a charity and none of the money would go to her or her department. When I told her I didn't have it, she got upset and said "Well I can't give you the grant money then!"

My favorite part of this scam is that they can "give" you $10,200., but want you to "give" $163. to a charity. After 10 seconds, it makes no sense. It reminds me of the old "Do you have 2 x $10's for a $5.?" sometimes it's an advance fee for (1)Tax, (2)Processing, (3) "Fee", etc. Variations of the same Nigerian advance fee scam.

So when I called back again, I was informed that I need to wire $163 to one of their charities and then my money--all $10,200--would be sent to my credit card. I offered to let them charge my bogus credit card for the charity donation requirement, but that just wouldn't do. Obviously they don't want to deal with charge backs from credit card companies for fraudulent activity.

Seriously though, I feel bad when people fall for this kind of stuff. Sometimes people are gullible and could use $10,200. I could totally use $10,200 myself!

I got two calls today stating that there is federal grant money in the amount of $10,200 available for me. I gave the person a bogus credit card number just to see how things would proceed (I was told that in order to get this money, I'd have to provide my savings or checking account number and my bank's routing number OR a credit card number of a card that has a $0 balance). I was given this telephone number to call in order to "claim" my money, along with a confirmation number. When I called it, the woman who answered asked me to call back in 15 minutes. I've not called back yet.

I received a call and I knew it was to good to be true. But, I feel for it now I need to cancel my card.

I got  a call from a lady at this number. She said I would get 10,200 dollars for a car from a federal government grant. My family really needs a car to transport my mom who is handicapped. I gave her my card number but not the money yet. Should I cancel my card? No money is gone from it yet.

I received call from Juliana telling about grant that I was qualify for she told me to get 10000 federal money I don't have to pay them back and they also took my bank information, I pay them 162 dollars, and I asked them where is this money for and they were telling 162 is gong charities in india when you pay 162 dollars wthin 20 minutes your grant will be available at your bank that is what they said to me. After  I sent 162 dollar by the western union and they give me  20 minutes, but, I didn't see anything in account then I call them back and they give  me a number that I have to call the bank in order to release my money. When I called this number, it was totally wasn't a  bank number no, one was answering this number.

tGOD have mercy on these lost souls that are doing the devils deeds.

They also called me and asked for imformation about my bank card. Julianna was her name. and she will not stay on the phone for more than 30 seconds.  Dog's barking in the back ground.  I gave them a fake number. serves them right!

SCAM!! 162$$$$$

I received a call from a Juliana telling me about a grant that i was qualified for. She told me to get a western union and send it to a Anselma Duncil,me not paying attention to a scam fell for it. I sent 162.00 to a person's was located in Philippines. Then she gave me this number 646-470-6985. I spike to a Robert Cooper telling me that i should receive my money in an hour.so i called back then he said that i should check my bank in the morning. That was on March,26 2013. So now it's 03-27-2013 i called my bank  an nothing was deposited, i have been calling him b,but keep getting there voice mail. So now what can i do cause i want my money back.
