A person from the above mentioned number called and claimed that I am a prime suspect in a criminal investigation. They had called from another number and stated the same thing. It is one man calling me. He is of Indian descent and has given me a different American name for the 4 different times I have spoken to him. It is obvious that it is the same person.

This nuber called me many time, but when I answer it no body is there,I tried to call it back, and keep telling , please check your number and call again.

I have received at least a half dozen telephone calls with the caller ID showing 202-726-2524 with a very clear fraudulent intent.  The caller claims to be from Dell and states that my computer has sent their technical department several messages indicating that I have viruses on my system.  I do have a Dell cumputer (actually it is an Alienware computer which is owned by Dell).  I firewall software and I run several scanners daily to ensure that I do not have viruses on my system.  I have had several Dell computers over the past dozen years and I am not aware of any program such as this from Dell (I have spoken to technicians at Dell and customer service at Dell and no one to whom I have spoken is aware of any feature on any Dell computer which would send information to them.  In each case the caller wants me to give him remote access to my computer so that he can resolve the problem.  Data Processing is my business and has been since 1965.  All of the callers so far have had an Indian accent and when I tell them that I will not give them access to my computer, they immediately hang up.  I do not know where they obtained my telephone number.  The vast majority of people using computers today are not as technically knowledgable as I and some will probable allow access.  This is most likely a 'Phishing' attempt.
