Said the number was washington dc on reverse lookup when I called it back it said the number had been disconnected or was no longer in service strange cause it just called me !! was getting calls from 202 before the election!

It's too bad that this page has been turned into a forum for people wanting to vent their particular political grievances.  The fact is that, whether they issue from the Democrats or Republicans, these calls are extremely aggravating and therefore damaging to both parties.  My phone carrier won't even allow me to block them.  I just wish they would stop.

Harold Z, why do you presume the call is from Obama?  It happens to be from Mitt Romney's campaign asking   those of us who have nothing to contribute to him, a millionaire!  I just keep reporting his calls to me to the do not call complaint list.  Maybe if enough of us do this instead of sitting back, complaining, and falsely blaming it on someone else, these annoying calls will be stopped!

I have received this same call from 5 other numbers from the 202 area code, all of which say "WASHINGTON DC" on the CallerID.  I have blocked them all.  You would think a presidential candidate wouldn't have to act so desparate.

I got a call from this number.  It was a call from Obama and DNC Nancy WasAman Shultz.  I live in Florida in a nice middle class neighborhood. And I don't know of One sane person who can stomach that witxh Nancy WasAman Schultz. Received an identical call in Sept from Mitt Romney Prevaricator in chief from 202 730 9959 had that one blocked as well how they got my cell # I do not know but I do not need to hear from these people.

Received call, nobody  replied.  I just assumed it was a political call.   I am getting about 10 per day now, all from different numbers.

These calls are only for a short time. I can bare them but what I/we can't bare is 4 more years of Nobama. All of you that don't like "paying for the calls", (as you put it), just look at what the past 4 years have cost you with Mr. Nobama

I got this call from some jive talking ghetto person. They urged me to help save our welfare system, claimed to be with Osambos president campaign. Is that even legal?

This call comes from Mitt Romney. I get them 3 or four times a week. Never got one from the president. Romney uses one of those hated marketing firms that calls you right at dinner than hangs up on you when you don't answer fast enough
