I signed up for EDDM but needed a refund bc i could find enough envelopes in time for when my mailers were supposed to go out. That number appeared 10 minutes ago, no voicemail.

They called and No message. Glad to see I am not alone with getting prank calls.

i googled it , nothing.

Hang up!   Would anyone do business with the USPS?  They're bankrupt!   Calling you at work is against the law.

This is not a spam. USPS' direct mail program. Glad to see big brother try to boost sales :) You probably asked for more info - that's why they are calling.

Got the same call Reported her to the do not call list as I'm on it.  Why doesn't this site add SCAM to their list or have an other?  Not everyone fits into their little drop own list.  It's not unknown it's a scam.

I picked up the phone, said hello 3X's and they would not answer.  Caller ID just said "Washington DC"

Called back, the line was busy.  

They called again, I let it go to voice mail and they wouldn't leave a message.  Just added it to my phone's call block list.

Received a call from 202-734-3580.   Did not answer, no message left.  I could be wrong, but it sounds like 'spam n scam' to me.

Received a call 10 mins ago.  Did not answer; no message left.

Just got call on cell from this number. Didn't know it, so rejected it. Looked it up here. Yep, looks like there is a scam. My cell is outta Arizona, Lake Havasu. Just a heads up. Glad the service is here!!!! Looks like a few other "lucky" folks have some good computer skills here too. Later all. Thanks for the reports. :-)

Received a call from this # - caller identify himself as the "US Postal Service" ... yeah ... right !!

As mentioned earlier, it's the Post Office calling about the Every Door Direct Mail program.  They've been calling me since I sent away for information.  It's actually a good deal if you're in business and doing direct mail.  Less than 15 cents each for postage, no sorting, no labeling, just pick your zip codes.  Much easier than our bulk rate permit.

They called, claiming to be the USPS, asking to speak with "the person in charge of advertising".  Yeah right, Scam, much?

Do NOT give this person any information.  It is most likely a scam.  I signed up for a business gateway account on USPS just yesterday.  I received a call from "Shelby" and the number that came in was 202--734-3580.  She wanted me to call her at 800.935.3357 to give her my CRID# from my account, so she could "set me up with some executives to make sure my mailers go to the right place".  Sounded fishy.  I called the USPS directly and gave them both numbers, her name, etc and they are looking into this.  They said they do not call and request information like that, and hadn't heard of any calls like this being made on their behalf.

unwanted calls... looked up the number and an internet posting of the number on this website said it was a scam where they claim to be from the USPS to get your information

This is a call from the USPS Every Door Direct mail program.  I had contacted them via the website to explore the costs, etc..of this program and they apparently have a "sales" department following up.

Same as above.

call from this number. used my first name and said "please call the U S Postal Service @ 800.935.3357.
an obvious scam.
