If you give them your info they'll charge you for a magazine prescription. Don't answer any 202 area code numbers saying that they're from the government and if it's too good to be true usually it's fraud.

No. Total scam. Ignore 'em. Hang up on 'em.

DON'T DO IT, BEST CASE THEY BEAT YOU OUT OF $180 ON THE PAYPAL GREEN DOT CARD; WORST CASE, THEY GET YOU TO PUT UP THE $700 INSURANCE REQUIRED BY THE DEPT. OF STATE. THEN THEY WILL SUGGEST YOU VERIFY BY CALLING THE DEPT OF STATE AT 202 697 9074

They called me from this number stating that I had been granted 10,200 all I had to do is get call another number to confirm then I was asked to pay 180 which is required by the government to pay that's when I knew it was a scam. You don't pay to get free money please and on top of it all they wanted me to pay with money pack ...,please don't be fooled they are out there getting innocent people who are in need. Another thing to note is that all of them have an Indian accent and supposedly they are from DC ....these scammers are in India that's why it's easy for them to scam us because the US government can't do anything about it.

I had the same thing they ask for my credit card information I mistakenly gave it to him and then they wanted me to purchase another card to send the hundred eighty dollars to. So I asked why do I need another card and he stated that they could not use the card information that I gave them so I have to open a new card so I could send it to Hey charity organization...

Called me saying that I had been selected for a grant of $10,200 from the government and I had to pay a $180 processing fee to recieve the money by wire transfer within 30-40 minutes. Both people that I had talked to had an indian accent and was hard to understand.
