My wife recieved this same phone call, thought it was fishy so looked it up before calling. It was the same as above that she was selected for the $ 7,000 grant.

federal grants for $7000 they wanted me to pay $250 on a green dot money card sounds like a scam to me if you won something why you have to pay something

No this is not real, I recieved the same call. I researched what they had told me, and found out it was a scam. I reported them already though.

Caller said they were from the us govt.They said I was chosen for a 7,000 grant for free.I don?t have to pay it back..Sounds like a scam..They gave me a case number and all.?..Is this real..I doubt it
