Received a call from an unknown number that I had won a federal grant of $10,000 and directing me to call the number 2027381404 to speak to the claims director so the money can be remitted to me. I immediately did a reverse search on the number AND found this site with testimonies of others who have been scammed.

A woman called from 2027384653 claiming to be providing a free government grant of $7000 for paying our taxes on time and we needed to call another number 2027381404. I immediately reported them to IC3 (anti-fraud site run by government). I did not become one of their victims but many have and if you are a victim or are contacted by them, you should report them immediately as well as contact your bank. Ic3.gov

Got called about an approved $2000 loan and was told to use the green dot money card to prove my source of income, well I'm happy I Google him and found this page almost got scammed

S the Federal grant deparment from this 202-738-1027 number just called me an hour ago saying i  was selected to get the 6,000 grant check and transfered me to Rob Adans with a confirmation code and Rob told me that theres a fee of 290 then i told him that i dont have any money right now then he dropped it to 120 and told me to pay the rest when i get my check what i want to know is how do they have my address?

I received the same kind of call. This man named Jacob Black stated that he was the head of the department and he worked for a government agency called the DFI and that he scammed me out of $315. Then he tried to get another $450 and luckily it went thru with a hold on it so I have time to cancel it.

I received a call from Jacob Black stating that I qualified for a government grant of $6,000.  I Googled his name, area code, and the word grant.  When I found out that it was a scam,
I called him back and played his game and let him know that I was scamming him.

I gave them not one but 2 western unions checks totaling $950. My first call came from Persy Jackson. He refered me to Mr.Rex Wheeler who told me that I was approved for a grant for up to $6700 after state to state fees of 280 plus transaction fees. Then I got a call from Francis Floyd informing me that I have to pay bank fees of $580 to receive And again transaction fees. And within minutes I would have My funds in My account for a federal grant. When I called back I've had nothing but the worst troubles they have My whole identity and there is absolutely nothing I can do at this moment.

I just got the same call and i asked him for his government ID number and he told me he wasn't allowed to give that information to me so i hung up on him.

I just got a call from this number. Once before i was scamed for 220 dollars. They still doing it. I reported this before to the irs and the fbi. And havent heard from anyone yet abouy how do i get my money back. someone need to do something about this. Im struggling as is and soon i need to pay my tuition at itt tech.

I just got a call myself.  They asked me to give up checking information....how about no.  Anyways I said i would like a check sent to me, they told me to call Jacob Black with an application code.  I know this is a scam...just stay away.

Recieved  a call from this number stating have recieved grant money fromt he goverment......needed to send 300 too them in order to get the monies from the grant........the senior person's name is Mr. Jacob Black.....

This number I believe is tied to some sort of grant scam you are contacted  initially by another number then they tell you to call this number who ever answers says they are the senior grant manager then goes through his schpiel and then proceed to ask if you have a valid checking account (red flag #1)then he says if you don't then you need to pay some sort of fee through money-Graham (Rad flag #2)don't fall for this folks hope this helps someone out
