I actually fell for this crap and literally "worked" for James Taylor at USEF for a couple of weeks. Fake as they get. Never got paid. They just want you to forward stolen goods sent to your home. Contracts look good but it's all a scam. If you 'believe' for the first couple of weeks they ask for your bank info to send you your first "paycheck". Oh yeah, that's gonna happen. Now it looks like they morphed from United to Global, clearly due to the heat. They were dumb enough to use the Washington Chamber of Commerce address as their own on the USEF site which the Washington Chamber attorneys went after right away. I notified CareerBuilder, FBI Cybercrimes, Local Newspaper, everyone. Total scam. All the posters on this site saying otherwise are complicit freaks. Way to go, scammers! You'll get yours I guess down the road.

People can be so cold.
They'll hurt you and desert you.
Well they'll take your soul if you let them.
Oh yeah, but don't you let them.
"Fake "James Taylor, Major J*** off...........

ALERT!  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.    THIS IS A SCAM.  DO NOT GIVE ANTHONY WEXMAN OR THE GLOBAL YOUTH EXCHANGE SERVICE ORGANIZATION ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

This is absolutely a scam.  My friend was scammed by Anthony Wexman from Global Youth Exchange services.  They hired her as an educational exchange coordinator and  they sent $3900 of  fraudulent wires to her bank account and had her send the money via moneygram  to "students" as "scholarships"  Hours later her bank called her to inform her that the money was fraudulently deposited into her account.  Now she has to pay the bank the $3900 that she was scammed out of.

Local law enforcement and FBI have been notified.,

It is a fraud. They send you fraudulent wires, make you cash it and send it MoneyGram (or something else).  At the end you pay for that fraud.

Anthony just sent me a job contract. It does not request any bank information however it does ask for your ID driver's license. This is nerve racking. the contract is signed by dirctor Jim Stevensen but i've googled him and can't find anyone by this name morever can't find an anthony wexman or GYES from google. They didn't  call me so far, everything is done by email. I work in the exchange business and their contracts and agreements are all very legitimately typed. It is very hard to know if they are real or not. Some programs don't even have proper contracts like these guys do. Also, i asked Anthony a question which he actually answered in my email stating it was a remote job and i could do the job from anywhere. Is this a joke/scam or a real opportunity??

If you can only migrate to the website by clicking on the link in the email but not by typing it or copy and pasting it directly into your browser that is a sure sign that something is fishy.  I bet if you hover your mouse over the link and look towards the bottom of the screen you will see a completely different website probably in a foreign country.  This is how those phishing emails pretending to be from Facebook, your bank, etc work.

If the website contains an address, contact the Better Business Bureau in that city to see if they have any record of that company.  Also, use Google Maps to locate the address and go to the satellite view to see what kind of building is at that address.

It would appear based upon the most recent postings for this number that the names of the players have changed to hide the guilty.

I have been back and forth with Anthony Wexman for almost a week now and still can't figure out if it legit or not.  I have found the Global Youth Exchange Services website which looks legit.  Today I called  the Attorney General Office in New York, The Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Protection Agency and Global Consumer Protection Agency.  I didn't find anything out from any of these services.  I'm spending way too much time trying to figure out if this is a REAL job or scam.....UGH!!!!!

For now I will keep job searching elsewhere until I have proof and confirmation of Global.  I originally got the email saying he saw my resume on Career Builder and  I am indeed registered on Career Builder.

Any other thoughts or solutions out there from anyone.  I would be GRATEFUL!

I received the same message from this man Anthony Wexman as well. They appear to have a website that functions and i really don't know if they are a scam or not. It is very hard to know this ahead of time and what kind of scam can they pull with just your name and phone number? I googled and didn't find the business but when you click on the website in his email it goes to a fully functional website. I replied asking what time we could speak this week and wanting to know more details about the position.

MSMET

I received the same email a few days ago.  I talked to Anthony Wexman (who is really hard to understand) and thought he might be on the level.  But, when I checked the address at the top of the Employee Registration Form it comes back to an apartment building on Broadway in New York, not a business building.  I called SMS Support number and it is a bad number. When you google Global Youth Exchange Services, there is no business with that name.  There are close names, but not the one listed in Wexman's emails.  The phone number comes back to a number in PA.

I have been receiving emails from this guy as well. It was a job offer for USEF as a exchange student coordinator. The job sounded very cool and would be awesome for me but I wanted to make sure it was real. I tried calling the number 2027381843 but got Mr. Taylors voice-mail. He was middle eastern by accent.

The application and contract agreement, I read through it and didn't like it. The application was PDF file, which any large organization doesn't use. And the contract agreement had things in it that didn't even closely pertain to the job such as "inventions". It really pays to do your homework first and go with your gut instinct. Theses scammers are getting smarter with using phone numbers that actually work and such.
