Just got ripped off of my rent money by AdamSmith.

I did file a complaint with IC3. I hope that someone shoot these b*****ds.

There will always be scammers. Education and common sense is your best defense. Maybe stop answering the phone until you get more.

They got me too for $150.   They call and say I qualify for a $5,000.00 loan, all I have to do is pay the first payment of $150.00 and it would be wired to my account within 30 minutes.  I did what they ask me to do and 30 minutes later "Sam Holley" as he says who he is, he call back and says their bank says I have to pay $300.00 hundred before my funds can be wire. That's the bank fee....I feel really stupid after that.  The first person I talked to he says his name is "Sean Thomas".  Now I call and try to get my money back those two people is never at the office.  I called again yesterday and the person who answer the phone sound just like those two told me Sam and Sean both are out will not return to work till Monday.  What a joke.  I really hope some one could help us get these people for taking advantage of people in their time of needs.

I received 5 calls in a span on 30 minutes, did not answer but was curious and called back.  An "Adam" said I was approved for a cash pay loan, which I never applied for nor would have.  I asked, nicely, if I could have my phone number removed from his call list.  He was giving me attitude and I asked to speak to a manager, which he claimed to be.  I then in turn said "well your not showing good customer service skills here for a potential borrower".  Again I asked to be taken off his list and he said "99 dollars to be removed". That is when I lost it and asked to speak to the owner.  This is where it got good " Adam" said to me "good luck. F*** you!"  Then hung up on me.  This caused me to google tha number and now I have joined the crusade against these thieves.

A man named Mike from a loan company wants me to send $130 by way of moneypak so I can get a loan for $2000. He's a scam artist with a Pakistanish accent trying to rip me off.

You probably will not see it again..  It is illegal to ask for money up front on a loan period. You do need to file complaints though..

Dee i got scam out of 1.414.00 by the same man called him self Ronnie Calvin. The thing is what can we do to ge our money back.

This same person keep call my Job every day three to four time a day  and will not stop call asking about a payday loan also calls from 646-521-4466 reported that # and filed a complaint.  I am so tried of these calls

They got me for $412.00 and demanded another to $275.00 to complete the loan.

This is a scam they got me good. Don't mess with them. Don't do it.

THEY CALLED AND SAID I WAS APPROVED FOR MONEY FROM THE GOVERNMENT WHICH I DID NOT HAVE TO PAY BACK IN THE AMOUNT OF 7000.00 ALL I HAD TO DO WAS TO GO TO A WESTERN UNION AND PAY 330.00 WHICH I TOLD THEM I DID NOT HAVE AND I DID NOT GO PAY THE MONEY

call from this number about loans. I hung up.  I have received same type of call from various area codes in the last couple of days. I tell them not to be calling me, I then got the same type of call from a different area code.  I have quit answering call from unknown callers.

They have called 7 times in the last 2 hours, won't stop!! Tell them wrong number they call back 10 minutes later. Seriously, calling our provider to block the calls.

Same problem here several phone calls in one day for three days. I have reported the area code 202# thus man also calls from 646-521-4466 reported that # and filed a complaint.  Please ppl report and file a complaint and please please please DO NOT SEND MONEY! it's bad enough we have the Nigerian scams

THIS IS SCAM!!!!!! These people are rude! They said they'll transfer $5000 in your acct within 30 mins then they'll charge you a $300 late fee and and $300 cancellation Fee and all these extra fees. They got $1600 out of us! There is no Supervisor or Manager to talk to either. The guy I spoke with (Ronnie Calvin) had a thick indian accent witha hint of british accent. Every time we asked him questions he kept yelling at us. Kept transferring me to the FTC and since when does our government workers have a thick British accent?? TheFTC guys name is (Jason Carter) Plus the FTC worker and this loan guy sounded the same...anyone can pull off an british accent! Plus We called the bank (US Bank) to verify a lady name Jennifer verified it was legit...BEWARE!!!!!!!!! These people need to get run over by a bus!

i received seven phone calls today and didn't answer.  after the final one, i called back.  i told him that i was a stay at home mom so there was no way i could even apply for a pay day loan and that if the calls didn't stop i would file a complaint.  he screamed "shut up" in a ridiculously thick foreign accent and then proceeded to call me a loser.  long story short, i hung up, called my cellular provider to block the number and am in the process of filing all the complaints i can.

I've received calls twice today from these people, once from the phone number above & the second time from an unlisted number, stating that I filled out an online application for a payday loan. They had very thick accents & spoke very fast, so I could not make out their names or the names of the company, even though I asked them to repeat them more than once. They then asked how much money I wanted & I explained that I have never & would never apply for such a loan & asked them to remove me from their list & to never contact me again. The first woman agreed without much hesitation & I hung up the phone. The second man (from the unlisted number) laughed and said "OR WHAT?" When I asked him to repeat himself he said, "or what will you do?" To which I replied that I would report them & repeated very clearly "DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN. DO NOT," then hung up the phone, feeling threatened. I reported the number to the FTC.

its a scam and should be reported. Its illegal for them to ask for cash to get a loan and the green dot cards is a warning flag to this. Report it.. the links in my post above! :)

A John Paul call me and that I can get a loan up to 5000 in my account in 30 min and u have to Jo somewhere get a green dot voucher and put your money on it to show u can pay it every month then u get your money back

I have calls from CashNetUsa as well and to now they have me for 275$ and just called me asking for $150. to fix my credit and process my loan.
Ugh I wish i would have looked at this before sending any money with green dot.

this person john paul just got me for  681.00 that was all my money he said he was from cashnet usa what a fool I was if you get a call from him don't give him any money it is a scam.

A "gentleman" continually calls from this number claiming to be from a payday loan company. I have asked him repeatedly to stop calling. The last phone call I asked to speak to his supervisor and he claimed he was the manager. I insisted that he put his supervisor on the line to which he "dialed" a bunch of numbers and then said his supervisor, Paul Smith, was on the line. I never heard anybody else on the line and then this guy claimed to be Paul Smith. I again told him to stop calling or I would file a complaint with the BBB to which he replied he was with the BBB. I told him he said he was with a payday loan company as he had previously stated. This is some b***s*** scammer so don't answer. I would really like to know what "company" this guy is from.
