The caller will offer you government grant for an exchange of you to purchase a Dot Card with an amount of $290.00 in it, in order to receive the government grant in it.

Same as what everybody is saying above, I got the call and almost beleive them because I would like to further my study.
I gave the caller my correct address, and then ask the caller what state is she calling from, the girl who speak with a foreign accent said from United State, and did not know the city name. I then knew at that point that It is a SCAM

Same thing, told me I got $7500 grant from the government, wanted me to send $290 first. I almost believed them until the woman with a very thick accent insisted that I need to "pay the deposit and we'll release the grant." When I questioned her with a laugh, she tole me, "Please do not laugh, this is not a joke." Seriously? But when I tole her, this is too weird and fishy, she hung up!!

This number just tried to tell me i was getting grant money but i had to pay 290;00

I got a call from a 416-364-1111 that said I was picked to receive some Gov't money (yeh right). I played along and listened (VERY bad english, by the way). He finally told me to call his manager at the above 202- number, which I did. She wanted me to verify MY information. I didn't. Gave her my name and told her to tell what information she has on me and I'LL verify what she has. I guess I pissed her off, she hung up on me and didn't answer the phone when I called back. PRICELESS!!!!

So I am a teacher, I teach CAD programs to different Engineering Firms, I am on the National Do Not Call list, and this company still got ahold of my phone number. I recieved 45 phone calls from unknown and random numbers all day. I finially had some free time to listen to what they had to say.... same as most of the above people. I called the number but i got a voicemail machine.... seems like im not the only one calling the 2027384695 number.

I have listed this new number with the national do not call list as a possible fradulient company trying to scam people. I asked multiple times for the name of the company the man calling from the unknown number was calling from. if they call back again I think i will ask for the manager.

I am going to work this out and hope to find out the actual companies name. because as i am sure you know, I doubt that your US Goverment, is paying people in India to call us to offer us money...

Called me from an unknown number and then gave me the 202-738-4695 number. Kinda confused the guy because his English was horrible and I kept telling him I hadn't applied for a grant. Won't be calling them of course but it is funny to me that they think people would think that the US govt would actually call to give away money!!!!

202-738-4695 - If you get a call about a government grant from this number it's a scam. They'll offer you several choices of receiving the money including picking it up from Walmart. They ask for a $200-$300 deposit after that. Do not be fooled. This is a fraudulent company that's trying to take your money.

I just got a calm form an unknown number giving me this number 202-738-4695 and speak to the manager so I can collect grant money.... But then ask me to pay $280.00 in order to get $7500.00 back. This smells like fraud and I refuse to pay anybody that i dont know, money in order to get "more money" I'm not stupid people.
