Contact your federal trade comm.  U have only 200 words, spaces, even comma's count. so be careful of the amount you are typing.. Im getting the same calls, and my son is in the army.. My caller I.D Says Washington------------------DC.. then the # on the bottom, and my heart Stops, then I find out its a mitt Romney scam.  Im going as far as the att General with this.. this is not how to win votes. u dont bother the people who might have voted for u . any way , try that. the more complaints they get, maybe they can shut it down. good luck

First off.  Every quite arguing.  These calls are not from either of the parties.  These calls are coming from
scammers posing as someone from one of the political groups.  The super packs from either party know the
laws better than we do.  They would not be calling from a number that when called back comes up disconnected.  These are scammers spoofing phone numbers.  The Telephone Companies could put a stop to
it but they are making good money from these calls also.
So stop the bickering, this forum in not the place.

The caller talks so fast I can't understand the person.  I hang up as quick as I answer it.  Not sure who it is from.  Sounds like some sort of political call.  We are working people, don't they have anything better to do than harass us when we get home?

I get a call every day from this number and if I pick up, there is silense.  Wish I knew how to stop these calls because they are very annoying and come at all hours.

I missed the call, but when I called them back the recording said "You have reached a number that is disconnected or no longer in service"  What kind of legitimate business would do that?  Obviously, they are saying "I can call YOU, but you can't call ME"

call today fom 202-405-4852 they are also using 156-724-4545, 164-683-4628, when I said this was the FBI trace line they hung up after saying s*** they can't get a clue this has gone on for 3 days now they keep switching the number they call from

Many of the VOIP services allow the caller to enter any phone number and ID they want to show up on your caller ID system (this is called number "spoofing"). They do this to hide their true identity hoping that someone will actually answer the phone. I treat ALL calls like this as a SCAM. And I wouldn't be surprised if they have NO affiliation to any legitimate campaign any money "donated" just goes to Somalia or Nigeria or... And any financial info they get will be used to empty your bank account. But maybe, it's just me.

Note: Many land line and cellular carriers have ways to block certain numbers. It's worth looking into.

How do you know it was from Mr. Romney's people? The caller could have just said that and been working for Obama just to make people mad and Mr. Romney. Everybody has to wake up during these final months of this election. We all know how dirty politics is. I don't think this is any different. Sounds like something a scared president would do to sway some votes.

Obama, really?  What exactly has he done for OUR country the whole time he's been in office?  Nada, Zip. He's a puppet that needs to go away.  Sure, lets cut our military budget, how lame is that?   Why doesn't he take away the money paid to past presidents, congressmen, etc.  How much could we save doing that? What about drilling for oil in our own country; which has reservoirs that will last us hundreds of years.  Open your eyes people!  He needs to go, the sooner the better.  Why aren't our service people paid more and taken care of after deployment so that they can defrag before coming home?  There is so much to do for our people.  Look at the fat cats on the hill if you want to cut budgets. My mother got a call from this number. Not political. Said he was her grandson and was in jail in Mexico for a DUI and needed $2,400. My mother has no grandchildren. Fortunately (sort of) her Alzheimer's is so bad now there was no way she could give him anything. She doesn't even know that she has no grandchildren.

Keep receiving calls on my cell and home number from this number repeatedly from Mitt Romney asking for money.  When I call the number back, it is a non-working number!  I was for Romney, but these calls are pushing me the other way!  I was out chasing 2 loose horses the other night before dark and got a call from them!  Give me a break!

I try to call or text this number back to ask that I don't get any more calls from them, but it's listed as a number that doesn't work.
I'm on th eDoNotCall list, but they don't respect it.

I believe these calls are from Dems. Why would Reps send out annoying calls looking for support? Campaigners are much smarter than that! This would be an interesting news story.
