Solicitors calling a non-published number.

I have received 2 calls from this number.  I have never answered it and they have never left a message on my machine.

opened answering machine and immediately hung up ... i get several of these a week starting as early as 0800..... up until 2100 from various "spoofs" ... i understand you can "rent" time on one of these spoof stations and it lets you supply a "display ID" when you use the service .... the ad says its for " fun or practical jokes " --- i wonder if the FCC thinks its funny

called, we did not answer, there was no message, so we tried to call the number back, and the message asks for the for letter code from our caller ID, so I said BCRF...it made a tone, I did not leave a message.

Called, didn't answer, no message left.  I hate these bottom feeders.

Asked for a Mr. or Mrs ------. I said they weren't here, could I please take a message? She said "this is just a courtasy call" and hung up.

D.C. area code.

This number, identified as BCRF, called and asked for "Brian." No Brian here, so they apologized but seemed to get cut off, though the line stayed open until I hung up.

No one on the end of the line.  Since they didn't have the courtesy to give a name when they called, I am assuming they are violating the do not call list and have reported them

They just made the mistake of calling here. LOL
Big waste of time since I Never give money.
Why would I do that?

BCRF appeared on caller ID. When I answered a lady asked if I was (my name) and mentioned something about breast cancer research. I hung up at once. This likely was a scam to collect money by making you think you were making a contribution to an organization concerned with cancer. I have never heard of the BCRF, and local organizations have fund drives for this cancer problem. BCRF likely has bought lists of people and their phone numbers somewhere, but they also could be making random calls to phone numbers around the country.

Received a call from this number tonight.  Didn't answer it, since I didn't recognize the # on caller id.  It seems like I've received more calls than usual the last day or so from various area codes that I do not recognize.

calls at least twice a week; no message Name comes up on caller ID as BCRF
seems to have started after making a purchase on ebay from a vendor of bonsai tree seeds; have also been receiving scams by mail from Austria; since purchasing them.  Most unfortunate; as its prob some type of scam; since the letters coming look -very professional and like they need a "signature" to release a $5,000 USA $ check.  Since I entered no contests is DEF. a Fake!  Beware!

Just ask for their supervisor = Romell Peterson.
Everytime they call you call them back and hog up their line then ask for Romell

Got a call from this number on 5/27. Not the first time I've had calls from this number, and this is NOT the legit BCRF, I've seen their website and notified them of the spoof.

Got a call from this number - BCRF - heard nothing on the other end.

I am on no call list.  See if you can get this number removed.

BCRF no message called back ask to call out letters on call id to direct me to proper voice mail box???????????

I have received many, many calls from this number.   I do not answer and they do NOT leave a message.  The last call came in today May 4, 1002, at 3:51 p.m.

Have received several calls from this number.  No one ever speaks.

Recd call from this number today.  Caller ID read out BCRF.  Did not answer. Am on the 'don not call' register.

Caller ID said 202-747-7371 BCRF, but the female voice asked for "Brian." Told her there was no Brian here, so she said something like, "I'm sorry" and then disappeared, though I could tell the line was still open.

I'm sorry I have to have a land line. I get junk calls every day, and I've been on the DNC list for years.

When recorder picked up, all you could hear was music, then recording saying your call was next in line and to please hold...I disconnected.
About 30 minutes before that there was an unavailable call. I'm sure it's a spoofed call, we've been getting A TON lately.

No - this is NOT Breast Cancer RESEARCH Foundation, it is Breast Cancer RELIEF ... a scam.  NOT a legitimate non profit.

Got a call from 202-747-7371, no one answered so I hung up. Ilooked up the number on the internet and found out it is BCRF. They son't male phone calls for donations.

The calls are from Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) in Washington DC.

No message left. I have a recording I put on my voicemail that says we don't accept unknown name unknown number, blocked calls, or numbers we do not recognize. It seems to have helped some. I still get a few.
