Got the same call. It was a recording. Also same name James Anderson. Caller ID showed 347-559-0378. Asked me to call 202-751-2453. PLEASE REPORT THIS SCAM to Treasury Inspector General 800-366-4484, option 5. You will have to leave a message. Nobody answers the phone. More people need to report this. These scammers are very motivated. They need to be caught ! Other numbers associated with these scammers are 202-803-4758, 888-575-3483, 202-803-4807, 202-803-4758, 202-558-4618. Don't ever give them any personal information !

I recieved this call and this is what happened. "Against your name concerning an tax evasion attacks-before(?) before we take this matter to the Federal claims court house before you get arrested by the County Sheriff's. Kindly call us back on our call back number which is 202-751-2453. I repeat 202-751-2453. Don't disregard this message and do return the call. Again this is James Anderson from tax audit Department. To know about this case kindly press one now. To ignore this message please press nine. Thank you. You have a great day. Goodbye."

I called the number back and asked to speak to James Anderson. James told me that I owed the IRS $4000.00 dollars for filing a fradulant tax return for the tax year "2008 thru 2012". He read a bunch of tax laws and asked me not to interrupt him as he was reading it. When he was finished reading, I told him that I was not paying anything because I did not owe any money to the IRS! This is when he told me that a Sheriff would be at my house in the next 30 minutes to arrest me. I hung up!

I got the same message like everyone else.  They claimed to be the IRS calling because I was committing tax fraud and if I didn't call them back they would get the county sheriffs office to arrest me.  RIDICULOUS!!!  These scams are just getting worse and worse.

I got the same and called back from cell and had real mental torches.  Wonder why no body taking any action what so ever. Called irs twice left messages and third time someone picked up and when I gave info.asked what number,  gave that number,  IRS said that is the scam.i don't know why he thinks I am calling for. It look like I wasted my time in calling the IRS.  

I also received a Call from James Anderson that I owe back taxes and that he is calling from IRS Audit Office.  If I don't pay County sheriff will come to arrest me.

They target the immigrants, who might have not sufficient knowledge of the Taxation system.

I got a call from 202 751 2453 stating that this person James Anderson is calling from Tax Audit dept.

They called saying we had committed tax fraud.  Asked to call James Anderson.

I got fraud call from 202-751-2454 saying that they are calling from IRS.  Want me to call them on this number.

I got the called and he said this is from IRS that Sheriff is coming to arrest you if you do not call them back.

I recieved a call from this number, stateing that I owed over $4,000 to the IRS.  They stated if I didnt pay right now over the phone the police would come to my home and arrest me within the hour...   Please be aware of the tricks, dont be fooled and loose your money...
