Have reported this number on the do not call registry and still getting calls from this bogus number

I got a call from dat number said I got a grant for 8000 and ask for my debt card so I gave him da wrong information and stuff he asked for my name I hung up he call bak and I told him to send it through da mail and he said da bank can't do dat he hung up it was going to bussy signal

Just got a call from 202-777-4441. right after got similar call from number 360-529-6803. Answered and said hello several times. no one answered back. hang up and tried to call this number back. got a recording saying the number was disconnected. these people are calling from MULTIPLE numbers.

Got a call from this person telling me that I was selected to get a $8400 grant from the Fed Gov't because of my credit rating and no criminal history.  I told him that all of my credit cards are in default and I am a convicted felon.  I then asked her if she had a green card and if she would like to work in a massage parlor.  I told her all she had to do was give me her credit card number and I would by her a plane ticket.  I then told her to peel the dot off her head and see if it says you are a wiener!!!  She said that she did not understand so I asked her if she knew what a seven one one is and what is the price of a big gulp, 2 dogs and a pack of smokes.  These stupid mother F%^&*ers can't even speak engrish!!!  LOL you rag head M.F's.

Received message one day from a male with a non-American accent who wanted $200.00 to process a $9,000.00 grant that I was chosen for, which was also available for all American families, and I could process thus by checking account or credit card. I told him to mail me the papers on it, and he proceeded to impress upon me that the grant did not have to be paid back. He was informed to pass the opportunity along somewhere else. Today, approximately 2 weeks later, a female congratulated me on being chosen to receive the same grant. When I questioned, "why me"? She hung up. Speaking with LOCAL police department today!

Just recieved a call from this number (202-777-7212).  Spoke to a lady that had a very thick chinese accent.  She rambled on about how I was choosen to receive $8,000.00 thru the Federal Government.  I couldnt really understand all she was saying so I just kept saying ok, ok........but she surely took her time when she explained that she needed a bank card, visa, mastercard, or prepaid card for me to receive the funds.  Once she stated that she needed that information, it was confirmed it was bull.  I told her I didnt have my prepaid card with me right now and asked if I could call her right back.  She hesitated and said well I can call you back and I told her that was fine and wanted to know a specific time to do so, so I told her to call me back the following day because I need to do my research, then I asked whats the name of your company again, but each time she repeated that name of the company I couldnt understand what she was saying.  Eventually the lady hung up from frustration I guess.  

It have a few friends that have called me with several different scams trying to get a payment over the phone because of a so called unpaid bills and now this.  This is just crazy that now it has gotten to this....I hope and pray that folks dont give out any important information over the phone!!!!!

A man representing  "The company" said that I qualified for a grant and I told them I was not interested and to take my number off of their list. The man said " F*** you " and I hung up.

Guy said that I could get 7k in cash at western union and it is not to be paid back.  He stated that he was calling from the U.S. Well I told him to donate the money to Mitt Romney and he asked what his telephone number was.  Definitely a scam.  Then I asked him if I could spend the money on a happy ending and he asked me what that was.  Hadji better come up with some better English than that crap.

got several calls from them while i was asleep and had my phone turned off. Tried to call them back when I woke up, and got the message that the phone number had been disconnected.  They called again about 10 minutes later and I answered.  They said I was eligible for a $8,400 grant from the federal government.  They proceeded to verify my name and bdate and address (the address they had is one i havent been at for well over a year.) Then they wanted a bank account.  by this point I was suspicious so I told them I didnt have one and would have to go get a card.  They are supposed to call me back on wednesday; gives me some time to do the research.

I got this call like 5 times already and i have experienced what everyone said. They are just getting irritating, what imma do now i TROLL THEIR F****NG A**.

Spoke with rep named Charlene from the "US Grants Departments" saying I was handpicked for $8,400 and that only 15,000 people were selected each year and to provide my bank account information for the transfer of funds. What was creepy was that she read an address off near me thinking it was mine when it wasn't. That was just a little too close for comfort. If it's mine, they can mail it.

found the company - the phone number is registered under teleport communications group - www.tcg.com

they called me 2x this morning, an hour apart.  didn't answer, but am emailing any addresses i can find.  Also, file BBB report, search for TCG Group in Washington DC.  maybe we can send enough messages to these scammers...

Weird we have the same name....received a call today from this number. Thick Indian accent saying she was from US Government Grants. I said I don't know why you're calling me and don't call me again and hung up.

Same. This guy said he was from such and such Government agency, but his accent was so heavy I couldn't understand him. I made him repeat himself twice. Finally I just said "And how can I help you?" He hung up. I knew it was a scam, so I called back to cuss him out, but the recording says number is not in service. So I came here to verify that I was right - and I am ;)

When you don't recognize a number calling you, just let them leave a voicemail. If a company is legit and trying to reach you, they will leave a MSG asking you to return the call. If not, it's a scam or a solicitor - either way, you're better off missing that call. They'll only waste your time.

Got a missed call from this number didn't pick it up did a search of it found out a lot of people are getting grant scams from it I want it blocked

Oh, and I'm not sure about all those references about telling the police; then again, I've never heard of any resolution when filing a complaint on the national Do Not Call Registry website.

Call came at 9:20 this morning.  I had just gotten out of bed and was about to change my leg dressing (knee surgery last week) when I heard the phone ring downstairs (both phones were downstairs).  I was expecting a call from France.  I grabbed my sweats, shoes and bandage materials and went down the stairs faster than I should have.  I reached the phone just as it was going to the answering machine - but they hung up.  I tried calling it back and - this is the first time I've heard it - got a ring tone along with the message "The number you have reached is not in service".  Then I had to go back upstairs (strain the knee some more) to finish what I started.

This number keeps calling my husband's cell phone trying to tell us we were selected to receive a government grant!!!!!!

Me and my husband received a phone call from this number and a different number, stating that we were selected to receive a government grant for paying our bills and taxes on time.   They also didn't ask us for much information except that if it was our name, our address and that was it.   Though, I still don't know how they got my husband's cell phone number.   When we file our taxes we have our home phone in our records!!!!!!

But, they only asked us for a prepaid credit card, like from walmart with a visa or mastercard logo on it.    It really sucks and I knew it was too good to be true..... People should know better than to mess with people who are in desperate times!!!!!!!     Save the numbers they call you from and record each call..... Then report it to the police!!!!!!!

Received a call from this number, claiming to be from the US Government offering me a grant. I said good bye then hung up on him. Getting the same response like everyone else regarding grant information, didn't give hime any information as stated before I said good bye and hung up.

Yep I got called 3 times today about plbeimg selected for an 8000 dollar grant. Because it sounded so good I knew I had to be a scam if it sounds to good to be true then it is fake. But I went to talk about it to my hubby and put them on hold because with a 3rd baby on the way who couldn't use 8000 dollars and well they hung up and called again an hour later then I looked it up online and am happy I found this forum.

202-777-7212 called 8/30/12 told me her name was Stacy from the federal grant program then hung up. they are calling from different numbers saying different companies...PLEASE STOP CALLING MY DAMN PHONE!!!!!

I answered because I though it  was a local mumber didnt see the area code before. But they hung up right after I told them I was not interested. I live in idaho and our area code is 202 but the prefix of where i live is 777.

Got a call from this number 5 days straight about bbeing eligible for a 9000 goverment grant, and the could wire it to my account or apply it to me debit card thoses were my only 2 option of recieving my grant, I told them to mail me a check and they hung up on me each time. too funny!! dont give them any info at all
