A right-wing political call

i get this call to pay as many suspected activity.

I have gotten about 10 calls from this number, but have not answered any of them. Wish they'd quit calling.

I'll be blocking this one also.

I did not answer.  I think I will drop them if they can't keep others form using their name.

Repeated calls from this number.  Never leave a message.  ID says AARP.  I was a member of that organisation for many years, but NO MORE.  So they can call me till the world ends...I'm not here.

Robo Call from AARP.  They claim to be non-partison group that looks out for seniors.  So the Do not call list doesn't apply to them.  But they are one of the nations biggest sellers of insurance products.  Reputable companies comply with the Do not Call list even if they are exempt.  Please stop calling.

ID says AARP - Medicare survey recorded on answering machine

They call everyday at different time...but never leave a msg.  I'm not going to answer!!!!

For past three days we have received a daily phone call from 202-800-5557.  On Sept. 18, 2012 10:35 am Caller ID read "Out of Area".  On Sept. 19, 2012 3:27 pm and Sept. 20, 2012 6:46 pm Caller ID read "AARP Survey".  No message has been left on our answering machine.

These people call constantly and at any time of day or night.  We are on the "do not call" list but they continue to call and do not leave a message.  Just don't answer.

Four rings then hangup when answering machine picks uo.  Caller ID says AARP Survey

this number has been calling me twice a day for the past week and never leaves a message, but either calls early mornings or dinner time in the evening.  the caller id says it is AARP.  Please stop these calls if you will.

I just got a call from this number, 202-800-5557.  I didn't answer.  I'm also not a member of AARP and don't appreciate them calling.  I've already told them what they can do with their organization, AND their support of Obama!

The called ID on the television says AARP,  On the phone ID it only shows the #.

Thanks for the number to be removed from the AARP survey list.  I just called and they were very nice about it and said it would take 4-6 weeks to take effect.  (I received calls from AARP on 9/13  7:04pm,  6/13 7:10p. So it's not really a big problem)

These calls are not from AARP.  They are from scammers trying to get your personal info (SS #, credit card #) so they can steal your ID and rip you off.  It doesn't matter if you are on the DNC list.  These are robo-calls from a computer that could care less if you are on the DNC list.  The caller ID is "spoofed" - not the real number.  They call using VoIP and intricate switching schemes to hide their true identity.  Do not answer.  Ignore.  Still hard to understand how the phone companies and the high tech government can not stop these slimeballs.  Write or e-mail to your US Senator or Congress person, demanding that they take action to stop this.

It's an AARP survey on medicare.  At the end they give you a number to call to be taken off their list. The number is 1 877 834 1569 .

what rver answered(not very bright) spoke with deep accent. when i asked what he  wanted he got flustered and i want your medicare # you know what he got

Keep getting calls from this number-won't leave message- i'm on the do not call list and wonder why they call!

202-800-5557 I keep getting these calls.  I am on the don't call list.  They call constantly and it's very annoying.

I'm getting multiple calls daily from this number with no message left. Caller ID says "AARP" but I don't think it's legitimate. I blocked the number on my OOMA and sent AARP an email about these calls.

It is AARP indeed. If you are an AARP member, they are calling to ask you if you want to take a Survey regarding Medicare. I called AARP directly and asked them to remove me from their Survey calling lists. They said no problem... confirmed that I am a member and told me it may take 3 to 5 weeks for the removal to take place. The AARP number I called is 888-687-2277

The Caller ID said AARP. I do not think that 800 is a valid prefix. The number must have been spoofed.

Have received calls everyday this week. I didn't answer. If this is AARP, doesn't the do not call list apply?
