I got an email from betty richardson saying i owed cash now who works for other cash loans i dont have any loans .

I was being harassed as well and used Lemberg & Associates it took about 4 months to get a settlement but the calls will stop immediately. The attorneys are great and I actually got $1000. Gather all your info on these people, dates and time of calls, I even recorded the VM messages and sent them in. If you didnt give them your cell number they are not allowed to call on your cell. Someone on an earlier post listed a website "know your rights" These bottom feeders can't treat you this way. Best of luck to everyone.

This is exactly what I'm going thru now....First the back fraud call next, they don't know the debtor at first but, they became very convincing about a capital one card that I had in 2000 then ,they r willing to settle for 500 I fell for it and paid then 200 dollars already because I didnt want the hassle been thru enough bs but became suspicious and didnt pay a dime more.  Who r these people. ....

I got email from them. What can I do to scare them?

Unfortunately, I fell victim to this scam but soon realized it and stopped paying after I had given these a**holes several hundred dollars! I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT ALSO! And they had the nerve to call back after I suspended payments!

I got a call from 202-803-5785 about a Capital One Card that I owed on from 2001.  They wanted 500.00 and that this would be then settled out of court.  Said it was Worldwide Requisitions in Washington DC.  When I try to call the number the mailbox is full.  Next had a call from Cynthia Andrews today and that this had to be paid by end of business today.  They do not have an 800 number???  That is odd.  I cannot even believe that I almost paid them the 500.00.  I pray no one else has fallen prey to this scam.  On the first call, they said that this was bank fraud. Hmmmmmm.... well now I have my answer and I will be calling the DOJ, FBI, and the police tomorrow.  Good luck to anyone else who gets a call from this number! You'll need it, as they are very convincing at first.  Not to mention, worst of all, persistent.  Thanks everyone!

I keep receiving calls from this number as well. They state I'll be taken to court if I don't settle on a payday loan. I've paid off the only 2 I've ever taken out I've asked for documentation and they say that they can't give me any info that it was sent out numerous times. Yet when I said to take me to court I've yet to receive anything. I don't know what to do they won't leave me alone.

I've been getting these calls about once a month saying they are trying to reach someone named Richard who is suspected of check fraud.

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so. That is best bet to stop these calls. Also report them to the agency's. Links in my post below...

how can you block them from your phone, I bet I have received at least 30 calls from them in the last 3 weeks and they are also calling my mother.  I have not done anything fraudlent so I am not worried, I just want the phone calls to stop.

Theses people are scammers.  Basically crooks.  They aren't going to pay any attention to any laws or anyone's complaints.

They use spoofed numbers and they spoof legitimate law firms and collection companies.

These numbers are scams. You will never get a hold of anyone. I have tried many times. I would like to know how to get them in trouble. I have reported it but don't think it works.

I get this call at least twice a week. Well today I press 9..I am on hold...then a recorder says there is no one available to call that number they said to call. I did..says inbox is full. I signed up with the don call me list with the gov. and ever since I did i get scam calls. I am very disappointed.

I have been receiving these messages at my home and on my cell for about 3 months sporadically. Ignored them at first as I have never written bad checks or committed bank fraud of any kind. But then I became curious. Just who are these people? I wanted to find out. So I called the numbers they left, 202-803-5785 and 202-417-2021. At first I got no answer, just a recording that they couldn't take my call. I called again and got a woman who would not give me her name or the name of her company. She hung up on me. I called back and got another young woman who also would not give me her name or the name of her company and she too hung up on me. So completely livid by this time, I called back and got a man who said his name was Mark Burgess and he said the name of his company was Worldwide Requisitions Law Firm. I asked him to give me the name of one of his attorney's so my attorney could contact him and he would not tell me. The address that was given was 1220 L Street, Suite 125, Washington, DC. He threatened papers to go to court and I told him to please send me ANYTHING in writing so I could give it to my attorney. I don't believe it is fair or decent to threaten people. Especially if you refuse to tell them why.

I just posted eariler today about there guys. We should do something about  all of them  A few yrs ago I had a company called Recovery Partners LLC calling me constancely. What he had told me was true but was taken care of.  The guy that called would not let it go. He got very rude. I even spoke with his boss. I happened to see an add on the internet  are you beening Harassed by Debtors fight back earn up to $2000 . I called and spoke with the attorney and did it. I took a little time but so worth it. Called accusing me of check and bank fraud and threatened to contact my employer. They gave me until the close of business today. That's been for the last month or so. How do I stop the calls. I decided to call today an asked  who they were and the name of the company. She said (Ms. Brice) they are litigators.

it's funny cause as i was reading this I came across the post of "ordering from Eagle"  I just ordered off of Amazon.. how funny.. I contacted my employer to be on the lookout.. what jerks!

Caller ID is spoofed, because a call back to that number reports it is unknown.   I asked to speak with her manager, because we are on the no call list, and she said "there is no manager here on sundays"... so i said "give me your number and I will call back tomorrow" and she hung up.   I hope some day I can sue these b*****ds

unknown company from 385-313-3975 (spoofed Salt Lake City) ...  call center noise and no one actually picked up.  Pretty funny that they are THAT incompentent!

I've been getting calls from this number (202-803-5785), leaving messages in my voicemail, stating they were going to contact my employer with papers for me to appear in court re: bank fraud for a payday loan.  Have been unemployed x 3.5 years!!!!  This doesn't sound legit - when I called the number back, the person who answered was vague - when I asked for the company name, he just said "litigation", I asled him "litigation from which company," and he acted like there was a bad connection, but came in clear as a bell when he asked me to give him my personal info so he could check the database, etc.  I hung up.

Don't return call ! It's all fake there just trying to scare you it's all BS! This is how low debt collectors sink  they try to scare you into cslling them back! They called me a few times finally I called back they said they were a debt  collector from a credit card I had over 20 years ago ! CALL YOUR DISTRICT ATTYS office and reort these low life pieces of trash! I did  and whatever u  do don't call these scammers!
